This is a library...represents to me freedom of thought.
Freedom of thought, expression, and living is very important to me.
1. The Element of Art most prominent in this photo is value. We see this in the wide range of colours that the candles provide. The light from the window hitting the candles then gives us a wide range of shades from each colour.
2. The aspect of this photo that is most visually striking is the bright colours of the candles.
Trust and value your unique gifts and creativity. Get inspired by the journey and success of others, but stay in your lane. Remember, you are still making progress in your own style, at your own pace. You alone define your success.

(using a variety of effects to more easily find the differences in tonal value in order to recreate the photo in a drawing using only 5 tonal values)
*this is the photo i used for the final project which was, unfortuneately not very successful because i didn't allow myself enough time to draw the shape of each individual tone accurately and perfectly.
This image investigates the element of value and it reflects the composition by having it as a black and white photo. The subject matter of the photo is the stars because the black and white made the stars stand out more with the darkness of them so it draws your attention. The most successful aspect about this image would be the setting of it to make it a simple photo with a plain background but then having a eye catching object that has a lot going on with it. What I would do differently while taking this photo is getting the a more straight upright position with the camera.
