The Oceana 2014 Vapor Fest had many nice opportunities to catch the trails. I was able to get a few shots.

La locomotora 0-3-0 "Aliva" ha estado de pruebas hoy recorriendo el ferrocarril del Tren de Arganda hasta el puente del río Jarama. Gracias al fantástico trabajo de restauración que han llevado a cabo los chicos del CIFVM podemos disfrutar de una locomotora de vapor de nuevo, tras casi un año sin vapor en Madrid. Esperamos verla pronto tirando del Tren de Arganda en servicio comercial.
Desde aquí mando mi más sincera enhorabuena a toda la gente que ha trabajado duro para hacer esto posible, sin recibir nada a cambio, más que la satisfacción de hacer una gran labor por la historia del ferrocarril español.
Un treno storico qua, un treno storico là...questo è stato un po' più difficile da raggiungere...dopo aver attraversato boschi e decimato vegetazione, con un paletto abbandonato nel verde, ci siamo concessi questo scatto del treno storico a vapore organizzato per l'annuale Expò della Vallestura che si tiene a Rossiglione...transito della 740.244, coadiuvata dalla 626.294 in coda, sul ponte dell' Acquasanta coronato alle spalle dall'imponenza di Punta Martin, rinomata vetta dell'Appennino Ligure....un saluto a Maurizio Cartosio, compagno di scatto e...."giardinaggio"!!!

An E/A-18 Growler from the U.S. Navy rockets skyward at Cocoa Beach Airshow 2025, captured in a sharp banking maneuver against a cloudy backdrop. Como si de una mitica locomotora de vapor se tratase, la 354.006, comienza a meter puntos, tras que la señal haya pasado de indicar detencion a via libre, pues en breves momentos alcanzara la velocidad maxima estipulada por el trazo en que discurre, la verdad toda una belleza estas locomotoras que en breve nos dejaran para siempre, dejando paso a las modernas y no tan bellas locomotoras 334

Blue sky and fluffy white clouds are a sight to behold when near this building, the tallest in Philadelphia.
Many were critical of it's design when it hit the skyline, but those folks must have never seen it on days like this. I could shoot here till my battery died. Sun in and out of clouds making for unique light.
I shot this and a few others, all of which brought a smile to my face. I can't remember if I shot this vertical or horizontal, but this is how it imported to LR and I rather liked it.
I know this is a familiar face in my stream, but I'll keep showing it until I stop smiling.
Tôt, la brume enveloppe l'étang, le calme réside. Seules quelques silhouettes se dessinent, glissent puis disparaissent dans cette ambiance vaporeuse.

This is the Vapor Casanoves, a XIX Century textile factory in my hometown, Sabadell.
Como pocas veces se puede ver, una locomotora a vapor sale con un tren desde la Estación Central de Santiago.
El Vapor Turull, al carrer Creueta de Sabadell, és un dels vapors més antics de la ciutat, datant del 1849. Per desgracia, actualment està força degradat i el 2009 s'arribà a cremar parcialment i tot.

This sorry shell is part of the industrial heritage of my hometown, Sabadell. The Vapor Turull was a textile factory dating back to 1849. Now lays abandoned even when some years ago there was a project to put a museum there.
Picture taken with my Ihagee Exakta VX, made in 1955 or 1956 and a Carl Zeiss Tessar f/2.0 50mm lens of prewar production.
Il viadotto di Castagnole è stato costruito negli anni Ottanta, e aperto nel 1988 inaugurando la nuova variante, in sostituzione di quella vecchia situata su un pendio franoso. Al di sopra, 640.143 di Fondazione FS svolge una corsa Canelli-Torino via Castagnole-Asti, con un treno storico riservato.

The concrete viaduct of Castagnole was opened in 1988 replacing the old tracks built on an unstable terrain. Above, the FS Class 640 steam locomotive hauls a special train from Canelli to Turin .
