Es la antigua locomotora Mikado de la Renfe, que se encontraba en una vía muerta, cerca de Villarcayo. Creo que ya no se encuentra allí. Hice la foto a primeros de julio del 2020.

Sometimes you get a photo in your head, and you can't move past it till you take the shot. I thought this idea was a bit silly to be honest, a chess set at an oblique angle. Originally I was going to have a clock, and a hand in frame preparing to manipulate a piece, but as the photo evolved I began deconstructing the scene. Removed the boring lights, used my new RGB lights to fill, and trace lines. Smacked the hand away, and filled the scene with vapor... It wasn't exactly easy getting the components to mesh well, adjusting camera angle, how much vapor I wanted. I think in the end, I took a fairly generic photo and put a different spin on it.

Two human silhouettes go to the main entrance to the Municipal Library of the old Vapor Badia of Sabadell, in Vallès Occidental, Barcelona. Vapor Badia was a textile steamer from Sabadell founded in 1867 by Josep Oriol Badia i Juncà dedicated to the woolen textile industry, the manufacture of wool yarns and printed fabrics, like so many others in the city. The factory building was placed on Tres Creus Street, very close to Gran Via, the crossing point of the city's first railway. The building was built by the master builder José Lacueva i Sanfeliu. Since 2002 it has housed Vapor Badia Municipal Library.

Auf dem Gebiet des ehemaligen Rangierbahnhofs in Berlin-Tempelhof ist eine einzigartige Naturlandschaft mit markanten Relikten der Dampflok-Ära entstanden.
Nach der Stilllegung des Bahnhofs entwickelte sich auf einer Fläche von 18 Hektar ein "Urwald". Durch den Einsatz vieler interessierter BürgerInnen und durch finanzielle Unterstützung der Allianz Umweltstiftung konnte dieser verwunschene Ort für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich gemacht werden.
Der Natur-Park war als "Weltweites Projekt" der EXPO 2000 anerkannt.

In the area of the former marshalling yard in Berlin-Tempelhof, a unique natural landscape with striking relics of the steam locomotive era has arisen.
After the station was closed down, a "jungle"developed on an area of 18 hectares. Through the efforts of many interested citizens and financial support from the Allianz Environmental Foundation, this enchanted place could be made accessible to the public.
The Nature Park was recognized as a "worldwide project" by EXPO 2000.

Un paesaggio naturale unico nel suo genere, con suggestivi reperti dell' epoca della locomotiva a vapore, è stato creato nell' area dell' ex piazzale di smistamento di Berlino-Tempelhof.
Dopo la chiusura della stazione, su una superficie di 18 ettari si è sviluppata una "giungla". Grazie all' impegno di molti cittadini interessati e al sostegno finanziario della Fondazione Allianz per l' ambiente, questo luogo incantato potrebbe essere reso accessibile al pubblico.
Il Parco Naturale è stato riconosciuto come un "progetto mondiale" dall' EXPO 2000.

A vapor cone is a visible cloud of condensed water that can sometimes form around an aircraft moving at high speed through moist air.
El Museo Vasco del Ferrocarril de Azpeitia (Gipuzkoa) ofrece, entre Semana Santa y el Punete de Todos los Santos, la posibilidad de viajar en un tren histórico con locomotora a vapor.
La locomotora Aurrera, la última de una serie construida entre 1892 y 1898, restaurada en 1991 por el propio Museo, vuelve a ponerse en marcha para realizar un viaje en el tiempo junto a todo su pasaje.
El Museo Vasco del Ferrocarril presenta una de las mejores colecciones ferroviarias de Europa, con locomotoras de todo tipo, vagones, relojes así como instalaciones eléctricas históricas perfectamente restauradas y en uso.
