As the impacts of climate change remains a growing concern for local communities in PNG, it is crucial that, the country’s approach to climate change is clearly understood by all key stakeholders to collectively address it. A four-day media training in the West New Britain Province was aimed at empowering local media participants to upskill their reporting on forestry and climate change developments in PNG. The training hosted by the Climate Change and Development Authority (CCDA) with technical and funding support from Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) through UNDP was highly commended by participating journalists.
