With the demise of El Zorro in June 2014, T386 has since been sold to Southern Shorthaul Railroad (SSR) for use on the broad gauge and T342 has been placed into storage whilst still being on standard gauge.

When LEGO released the new roller coaster tracks I immediately thought of building a Jurassic Park themed ride. I love the movie (the original from '93) and am a fan of the slow-paced immersive rides such as the Pirates of the Caribbean or the JP ride at Universal Studio. Building the different iconic sections was pretty straightforward... the engineering wasn't! I will be the first to admit that I am not a Technic guy, so the learning curve was pretty steep.
The full layout is using 4 medium PF motors, 2 IR receivers and 2 battery boxes - everything is controlled with 1 train remote control.
As you can tell from the video, the wagons sometime need a bit of help to keep going. I was able to make it run without problem in a controlled environment - but never for very long. The video was shot at public display where the tables were not level... my batteries not fully charged... and these track pieces are actually very tricky to maintain aligned... so, keeping it running for 2 days was a lot of fun. Every time it would get stuck somewhere a kid would shout at me that it was broken!
Still, the layout was a huge success.
I mean, Dino + roller coaster, you can't go wrong!
After unloading salt in South Chicago on Monday, the Algoway ventured up to Milwaukee to finish unloading. I followed her up there on Tuesday and caught her at Cargill Salt on Jones Island. This could be her final season, so thought why not take a drive.

Osoby na co dzień nie obcujące z koleją bardzo się dziwią, jak się im uświadamia, że węgiel do EC Siekierki musi ze stacji Warszawa Okęcie jechać naokoło przez Jeziorki, Piaseczno, Konstancin i Wilanów.

The Antonov parked on the new hardstand along Mannheim Road and drew some attention. I shot this from the Balmoral bridge over Mannheim. There was no traffic to worry about.
The docking pontoons where Campbell Steamers unloaded day trippers. The structure is still beautiful but dangerous to access so can only been seen either from the opposite bank or the Portway The twice daily tides add more silt and take some way each time.

Every day of the year, rain or shine, vendors, collectors, and curious visitors gather to trade, browse, or simply observe the activity. It's more than just a market—it's a dynamic stage of gestures, glances, rhythms, and quick transactions. You can find everything here: antiques, worn tools, porcelain saints, tangled cables—and above all, people.
For this project, I aimed to eliminate color distractions and emphasize human presence in its raw form. Black and white photography highlights light and contrast, bringing faces, textures, and fleeting moments into focus. These are not staged scenes but genuine snippets of everyday life—captured amid stalls and objects in the heart of the Marolles.

Yesterday along San Diego, California's Embarcadero a fishing trawler from the Hawaiian Islands unloads it's catch of Opah. It's rare to see such an event these days... especially since so many restaurants are closed due to the corona virus. One of San Diego's main industries many many years ago was the Tuna Industry. We had many of the well known canneries here... I remember visiting one back in 1962 on a elementary school field trip. We saw everything from the unloading via conveyor belt from the boat to Latino women sorting the tuna meat... to the canning. Just driving by one of the canneries one needed to roll up the car windows because of the smell!

Columbia Transportation's Maritime Class Ashland is unloading at Interlake Steel at Wisconsin Steel Bend in 1976.
Having left Kirkham North Junction behind, Provincial Services liveried 142047 was passing Ribby Hall with a Colne to Blackpool South service on April 13th 1991. The 142 is running along the once double track coast line, that was singled beyond Kirkham in 1986. In the background, stood on the stub of the truncated Down Line, was BR Mk.2C Coach M19543. It had been destined for Northern Ireland Railways and was in transit by road when the coach suffered some minor damage. It was unloaded at Kirkham, but unfortunately suffered some vandalism and was pushed 'out of sight' on the Ribby Curve. M19543 spent some considerable time lanquishing away, and was eventually cut-up on site. In April 2020, 142047 is stored at Heaton Depot on Tyneside.
