Unlike some ferries, the MV Apollo was very accessible for unobstructed photos, which I appreciated.

66713 has arrived with 6G99, the 05.39 from Dowlow, the second HS2 construction train of the day.
There is a flurry of activity as two grabs unload the aggregate, and a mechanical shovel adds it to the growing stockpile on the left.
The grabs are a clever design, with cabs that can rise up the jib, allowing the driver to see the bottom of the wagon when there is only a small amount of material left to extract.
Taken at the Jefferson county fair in the horse barn. I tried to straighten this, but it just didn't look right. I like the light coming through the dust.

Unloading gravel is the title, it looks more like sand to me. It was being loaded onto a lorry at the quayside.
The location has been rain washed off the mount but the pictures on either side had been taken at Bideford.
