Port Tlabot iron ore jetty...
Built in 1970 the jetty was used to unload around 300 million tonnes of cargo over its 54 years of operation
It was rendered obsolete by the end of blast furnace steel making at Port Talbot steelworks, and closed in August 2024.
New rail is off loaded from the single mullet in the consist of 6N01 66165 in Havant station. Saturday 4 May 2019

Unloading gravel is the title, it looks more like sand to me. It was being loaded onto a lorry at the quayside.
The location has been rain washed off the mount but the pictures on either side had been taken at Bideford.

4315,5636 have unloaded thier ore train at Finucane Island and are heading to the yard where they will join anther consist and head back out to another mine to complete the cycle again on 19-6-15
