LOCATION:
The unique church of St. Nicholas in Horodysh was the oldest church building in Menshchyna. In 2016, the church was moved to the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Pirogov.
St. Nicholas Church was built in Horodysh in 1763, it consisted of a four-sided nave, an eight-sided hall and a six-sided altar. By the way, the structure was built without a single nail.
In 2016, the church was dismantled and moved to Pirogov. Only the foundation remained in Horodysh.
In the restored church, the walls are the same as in Horodyshche, and the outside is decorated with modern materials.
Унікальний храм Святого Миколая в Городищі, був найстарішою церковною спорудою на Менщині. У 2016 році церкву перевезли до Національного музею народної архітектури та побуту, що в Пирогові.
Свято-Миколаївська церква зведена в Городищі 1763 року, складалася з чотиригранного бабинця, восьмигранної зали і шестигранного вівтаря. До речі, споруду побудовали без жодного цвяха.
2016 року храм розібрали і перевезли до Пирогова. У Городищі залишився тільки фундамент.
У відреставрованої церкви стіни стоять ті, що й в Городищі, а ззовні оздобили сучасними матеріалами.

All parts of the opium poppy contain morphine and other alkaloids, especially the milky sap in high concentrations, which runs through the entire plant and especially the pericarp of the capsule fruit in a dense network of milk tubes
The unique Port of Port Orford, Oregon is the only Dolly Dock on the West Coast and one of only 6 in the world. The boats are not left in the water. The cranes on the dock are used to hoist each boat out.

EL53 and EL57 swing into East Maitland as they head for Kooragang Island to unload coal for export from the Austar Pelton colliery as AS288.
The colliery at Pelton is slated to close in late March, bringing 124 years of coal trains on the South Maitland Railways system to an end.

A unique stretch of road which takes you right out to the ocean’s edge. In 2005, the road was voted Norway’s «Engineering Feat of the Century», and is also known to be the world's most beautiful drive. It connects Averøy with the mainland via a series of small islands and islets spanned by a total of eight bridges over 8274 meters.
The road was opened in 1989 and is toll free.
The Atlantic Road has National Tourist Route status and the entire stretch between Bud and Kristiansund is one continuous experience packed with coastal scenery, culture and history. The contrasts between a trip on a sun-soaked and tranquil summer day and a foam-sprayed journey in a storm from the northwest are amazing. Take your time and open all of your senses. The "Atlantic Road experience will give you memories for life. Park your car at designated stopping places, climb a hillock and enjoy the salty air and the magnificent view.

My attention was drawn to this entrance because of the six engravings.
Black and White with only Blue.
I don't know why but the entrance is lit inside with a blue light.
La 460-067 'Hohle Gasse', passe le village d'Egolzwil, en tête d'une rame IC2000/2020, bariolée au gré des rénovations, et en mission d'un IR Genève - Lucerne, peu avant que la moitié de ces trains soient transférés au roulement des Twindexx.
Par chance, entre "fortes" chutes de neige et franc soleil, une journée de début décembre était propice à une sortie avant le changement de service horaire et le changement évoqué ci-dessus. Ce sera malheureusement le seul épisode neigeux significatif de cet hiver 23/24, pour les plaines de l'ouest suisse.

Its flowering is unique: long, hanging clusters that can reach one meter in length, with bright red flowers of an exotic shape, similar to a bird's beak. The dense, glossy green foliage is ornamental even when not in bloom. It is a vigorous and hardy plant, ideal for covering large pergolas and arbors, where its stunning clusters can be admired from below. It prefers full sun, fertile soil, and a warm climate, as it does not tolerate frost.
A Trepadeira-jade-vermelha (Mucuna bennettii) é uma trepadeira tropical espetacular, ainda rara em cultivo. Sua floração é única: longos cachos pendentes que podem atingir um metro de comprimento, com flores vermelho-brilhante de formato exótico, semelhante a um bico de ave. A folhagem densa e verde-brilhante é ornamental mesmo fora da época de floração. É uma planta vigorosa e rústica, ideal para cobrir grandes pérgulas e caramanchões, onde seus impressionantes cachos podem ser apreciados de baixo. Prefise sol pleno, solo fértil e clima quente, não tolerando geadas.

We haven't been to Alaska for a bit so let's head back a half dozen years for one.
The railfan coveted three scheme lashup is a true treat and quite the rare event on the Alaska Railroad. In the decade I lived in Alaska I can count on one hand the number of times I got to photograph it happening. By this late date there were only three GP40-2s in the old 1970s black and gold scheme with the rest of the fleet wearing the current 'Baby Mac' paint and the only units left liveried in the 1980s 'Alaska Bold' scheme were GP38-2s that were mostly relegated to yard service in Anchorage and Fairbanks. But once in a while one would get out on the road such as happened on this picture perfect late winter day.
The geep trio are leading a 120N from Whittier to Anchorage seen emerging from the north end of the 13,338 ft long Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel at MP F5.6 on the Alaska Railroad's Whittier Branch.
The tunnel which is the only land based access to the important port community of Whittier on Prince William Sound is a marvel of engineering. Originally built by the US Army and opened in 1943 it was converted to dual use more than two decades ago and is the longest shared highway/rail tunnel in North America and is essentially a 2.5 mile long grade crossing.

Inside the tomb of a Mughal emperor JAHANGIR who ruled Indo-Pak subcontinent from the year 1605 - 1627. This tomb was built by Emperor Shahjahan, the son of Jahangir, after the death of his father.
This tomb was built between 1627 - 1637, and is now 376 years old.
The work as shown in this picture is a beautiful aspect of Mughal Architecture. It is carefully preserved, and is in its 100% original form. This unique and remarkable craftsmanship can never be seen in any part of the world.
