A thought so intense
it could no longer remain invisible.
It touched the sea,
and the sea gave it form — a fragile profile,
born of foam and light.
Not an illusion,
but the energy of a thought made visible.
To those who feel, it is there.
To others, it never was.

I taught ChatGPT to write prompts in the way I learned from the great Techhalla.
After ChatGPT understood, I gave the following instruction:
Now create four prompts on four topics on which I invite you to act completely freely. A refusal is not accepted, make an effort.
Topic 1: something I have never seen before
Topic 2: something you have never seen before.
it worked:
Topic 3 and 4 will follow very soon.
today the 4 results of topic 2
here are the MJ prompts ChatGPT created:

Let's keep our eyes and hearts open to all that we encounter.
Let's keep creating a world founded on kindness, compassion, and understanding.
Let's leave fear behind and shine our light so bright, my friends!
I have met with but one or two persons in the course of my life who understood the art of Walking, that is, of taking walks, who had a genius, so to speak, for sauntering; which word is beautifully derived "from idle people who roved about the country, in the middle ages, and asked charity, under pretence of going "à la sainte terre" — to the holy land, till the children exclaimed, "There goes a sainte-terrer", a saunterer — a holy-lander. They who never go to the holy land in their walks, as they pretend, are indeed mere idlers and vagabonds, but they who do go there are saunterers in the good sense, such as I mean. Some, however, would derive the word from sans terre, without land or a home, which, therefore, in the good sense, will mean, having no particular home, but equally at home everywhere. For this is the secret of successful sauntering. He who sits still in a house all the time may be the greatest vagrant of all, but the Saunterer, in the good sense, is no more vagrant than the meandering river, which is all the while sedulously seeking the shortest course to the sea. But I prefer the first, which indeed is the most probable derivation. For every walk is a sort of crusade, preached by some Peter the Hermit in us, to go forth and reconquer this holy land from the hands of the Infidels.
-- Henry David Thoreau
[Note to Barbara: Even saunterers, regardless of destination or intention, must still pay attention to the path and watch their step.]
[Far better larger...]

The days lengthen...a move made 15 years later...not understood...all I can see is Sunlight. Seriously, while absent from posting...I have been at it...one is to change the configuration of my addition overlooking the pond. For 15 years the dining room table sat in the corner...and it was used rarely. By virtue of a long story, I moved a desk to that corner and now spend hours sitting there...taking it all in. This is a hanging succulent...not far from my desk.

Happiness - taken from a monologue of Roberto Benigni
forgive my translation...
---
...our whole life is summed up in this word,
Love
But there is one thing to say, that time passes
and the fundamental problem of mankind since 2,000 years is the same,
Love
But now it is more pressing, very pressing.
And when we hear today repeating again we have to Love each other
now we know there is not so much time, we have to hurry.
Let's hasten to Love. We Love always too little and too late.
Let's hasten to Love, becouse at the end of life we will be judged about Love.
Because there is no wasted Love.
And because there is no greater thrill to fell, when we are in love,
our life totally dependents by another person.
And because everythings, also the inanimate one
like the mountains, the oceans, the streets ... but more, more
the sky, the wind ... more
stars, more
cities, rivers, stones, palaces
all these things that in themselves are empty, indifferent
suddenly, when we watch them, are loaded with human meaning
and fascinate us, move us.
Why? Because they contain a premonition of Love, even inanimate things.
Because the plating of all creation is Love
and becouse Love fits with the meaning of everythings, Happiness.
Yes, Happiness.
Search her constantly every day.
but, whoever listens to me now, goes searching of happiness! Now!
Just at this moment, because she's there.
You have her. We have her.
Because they have given her to everyone.
They have given us as gift when we were children
and it was a so beautiful gift that we have hidden her,
like dogs with bone when they hide.
And many of us have hidden her so well that they cannot remember where.
but we have her, you have her.
Look in all the closets, shelves magazines of your soul.
Throw everything up!
Drawers, bedside tables, you will see her comes out.
There is Happiness!
Try shooting turn around, maybe you take her by surprise, but she's there.
We must always think about the Happiness,
and although she sometimes forgets us,
we never have to forget her, until the last day of our lives.
And we must not be afraid even of death.
Its more dangerous to born than to die.
We havent to be afraid to die but never begin to really live.
Jump into the existence now, here.
Because if you do not find anything now, you will not find anything ever again.
Here is eternity.
We have to say Yes to Life
We have to say a so full Yes to Life that is able to contain all the No.
Because now we understand that we know nothing
and that we dont understand anything, and we just understand there is a great mystery,
and that we must take it as it is and let it stay,
and that the thing that makes the most impression in the world
is the Life that goes on, and its unclear how she does.
But how? But how can she resists?
Its another mystery and no one has ever understood,
because Life is much more than we can understand
for this reason she resists.
If Life was just what we understand she would have ended since a long, long time.
And we feel it, we feel that at any moment there could happen something infinite,
and then each of us can do just one thing, bows.
(Ambystoma tigrinum). Anderson County, Texas.
Eastern tiger salamanders in East Texas are poorly understood. They appear to be associated with Eocene sand deposits in the post oak savanna where they are generally uncommon and likely declining. They breed in fishless ponds and seasonal wetlands. This individual was found in what was likely a series ephemeral catch-water wetlands formed in a clay-bottomed depression. The basins have been dug out for wildlife ponds, but evidence of their history is evident through natural contours and surrounding vegetation.
The handful of A. tigrinum individuals from East Texas I've seen in person and photographs have an interesting look to them.
It is well known that tiger salamanders have become established in a variety of locations via introduction as fish bait. I don't think that this is the case in East Texas, however, for a variety of reasons, including the similar appearance of East Texas animals, the paucity of populations here, and their apparent distribution. Similarities that some individuals share with the western tiger salamander (A. mavortium) may be due to the proximity to the contact zone between the species. To me, this animals and others from this population and other East Texas populations favor A. tigrinum physically and ecologically, but I would love to see some genetic analyses.
This animal may be the most beautiful salamander I've had the pleasure of photographing.
I've never understood music. I listen to it but the process and skill to be able to create it escapes me. It further escapes me when I watch this musician play his guitar behind his head.
to be honest, i never understood that phrase anymore than i understood the term "post-modern". somehow, though, it seems to speak to this frozen crop circle. it was a crappy week on a global scale and seeing this as we drove to the supermarket made me love jackie de shannon and the fact that someone took the time to not tweet.

In the song, sailing can be understood as a metaphor for finding an activity that clears a person’s mind. There is another line in the song, which refers to painting: The canvas can do miracles. According to Cross, the song’s lyrics also speak about the transformative power of art.
It’s not far to never never land
No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy
Of innocence again
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see, believe me

when it is understood that one loses joy and happiness in the attempt to possess them, the essence of natural farming will be realized. the ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings
today was one of those days where i just needed to be understood. i don’t move like most people and you’ve never taken that personally. from the start, you actually listened. no questions, no hesitation. just gave me what i needed. that means more than i can explain. you feel me without me having to explain myself. you catch my energy and meet it where it’s at. no fixing, no changing, just letting it be.
this photo… it says it all. it shows what you do without even trying. and that’s what makes it so real.
thank you. for being you. for being here. for settling into my world like you were always meant to be there.

A stolen moment, silent glance
When you shut your eyes, I am lost
So much unsaid, but understood
As my fragile heart dares to trust
O my darling now, I’m bracing for the fall
Though I never felt peace like this before
We are just beginners
Have some faith in the unknown
With every step, we learn, we grow
We are just beginners
Take a leap and learn to fall
Before we learn to fly at all
We’ll build a home, and find our way
Cause we’re beginners, every day
The shadows fade, we drift apart
Me on the stubborn side
You on the quiet
Eyes look down, our spirits bruised
Can we find our way?
Back to the light
O, I’ve never felt pain like this before
We are just beginners
Have some faith in the unknown
With every step, we learn, we grow
We are just beginners
Take a leap and learn to fall
Before we learn to fly at all
So here’s to us, our journey starts
Hay balls
I never understood why I love watching these bales of hay scattered over the fields, perhaps because I consider them a connection between human beings and nature. A gentle exchange that does not alter visual beauty
Balle di fieno
Non ho mai capito il motivo per cui mi incanto a guardare queste balle di fieno sparse sui campi, forse perché le considero una connessione tra gli esseri umani e la natura. Uno scambio gentile che non altera la bellezza visiva
Tribute to Vincent... I love Vincent. He is my hero....He was never fully understood....
'They' will never listen....'They' don't know how.....
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now.....
Finally understood why she is always so hungry, this attack happened after days of very bad weather with very few insects flying around, she must have been very hungry , she ate this poor hover fly as we eat a lobster, even the legs were broken one by one.. this is a document that gives me the creeps, but it is a document of the habits of this strange insect , have you ever seen yourself while you are eating a lobster ? and isn't it a bloody scene when a torero wounds and tortures and kills a poor bull ?
"Time passes and
you run to catch up.
What I understood
you will understand too.
Like I was a little kid
I was chasing time.
Now he's chasing me
and he takes what I loved.
Live every moment,
time does not spare.
From a young boy you grow old
and he doesn't count you!
The now is, my eyes,
which matters.
And if you don't live it, you've lost
the essence of time.
You are ageless after all
time, in our lives.
The body may be aging
but not our soul..."

I've never quite understood what that means ...
anyways, our local beach was very popular this last weekend. We usually avoid it then but it was getting to be the golden hour and I had seen that Miss Baker was out so we went for a wee visit. Most of the families were leaving when we drove in, hauling their chairs, tents, umbrellas, kids, dogs, mother-in-laws, back to the car, looking quite done in. But there were many that were sticking around for the sunset show. The water was warmish as the daytime temperature had been 30 C., so there were people paddling and swimming. And the sky was glorious, strafed and scribbled with cloud ribbons, I couldn't stop clicking :)
song - Pachelbel's Canon in D performed by Kassia
I never understood why people actually like this icky, cold stuff..
We had GREAT weather today though, the sky was blue on occasion, and the sunset (even though it's at 4PM) is great. :)

I noticed this lonely tree in a field during a walk near Chidham, West Sussex, UK. I really liked how windswept it appered to be from the angle that I captured it from, as well as how moody the overcast sky turned out in the final image.
Never understood why gravity seems to work differently on the mountain, but hey I'm not complaining.
...why every time his wife took a photo of him, no matter what the camera, she always managed to cut off his head. At first, he blamed the shitty viewfinder on the old point-and-shoot Minolta. The same thing happened with the Nikon SLR they bought. Then digital came along, and even with screens on the back of the camera she still managed to lop off his head. It got to be quite the joke between them. 40 years of marriage, and 40 years of ruined images. It wasn't until that night, half asleep on the couch, she'd come at him with the carving knife, aiming for a clean cut across his neck. At last, he understood.
