Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.....

Voy a salir

No más fingir

No más servir

La noche es pa' mí no es de otro

Te voy a colgar

Ya no hay vuelta atrás

Si me llamas, no respondo

Y yo voy, voy, voy lista pa' bailar

Porque tú, hoy hoy, me has hecho rabiar

Y yo voy, voy, voy lista pa' bailar

Tengo claro que no me voy a fijar

En un chico malo no, no, no

Pa' fuera lo malo no, no, no

Yo no quiero nada malo no, no, no

En mi vida malo no, no, no

Tú ya no estás

Dentro de mí

Se han podrido las flores aquí

Ahora

Yo no te miro, y tú me vas a ver

Yo no te escucho, y tú me vas a oír

Paso de largo, yo voy a por mí

Esta noche bailo mejor sin ti

Yo no te miro, y tú me vas a ver

Yo no te escucho, y tú me vas a oír

Paso de largo y paso de ti

Esta noche bailo solo para mí.....

I had to jump out of the car..this sight captured me 😍I was a few minutes late ... but my boss fully understood when i showed him the photo 😁😁

Yeah, breathe 'til you've understood

Until you're feeling like yourself again

Feel the sunlight on your skin

"I was disarmed by the spontaneity of giving and understood that Lucie cared for it; perhaps her tongue-tied state, her lack of verbal eloquence, made her think of flowers as a form of speech; not in the sense of heavy-handed conventional flower symbolism, but in a sense still more archaic, more nebulous, more instinctive, pre-linguistic; perhaps, having always been sparing of words, she longed for that mute stage of evolution when there were no words and people communicated by simple gestures”

"If we understood the power of our thoughts, we would guard them more closely. If we understood the awesome power of our words, we would prefer silence to almost anything negative. In our thoughts and words, we create our own weaknesses and our own strengths. Our limitations and joys begin in our hearts. We can always replace negative with positive." -Betty Eadie

Düsseldorf playhouse with new facade; Architect Bernhard Pfau

Wikipedia: "...Pfau himself understood his building more as a housing than a building. The layering of the white discs in their concave and convex windings is less reminiscent of a static building than of something organic. The Düsseldorfer Schauspiel can therefore be assigned to organic architecture. This heterogeneous category of architecture developed at the beginning of the 20th century and, as the term suggests, is characterized by its organic forms borrowed from nature. Equivalently, Niederwöhrmeier also shows the building's relation to the Novo style. This style, which is also characterized by curved forms, particularly influenced the everyday culture of the 1950s. In literature, the works of Alvar Aalto and Le Corbusier are unanimously cited as models for the Pfau Playhouse, since they can also be understood as large sculptural forms..." de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Düsseldorfer_Schauspielhaus

Unique in Germany are the windows of St. Stephen's Church, which were designed from 1978 by Marc Chagall, who wanted them to be understood as a contribution to Jewish-German reconciliation. The then pastor of St. Stephen's, Monsignor Klaus Mayer, won Chagall as an artist. Until his death in 1985, Chagall created a total of nine windows for the front part of the church. Chagall designed the stained glass windows and also painted the black plumb lines himself. These are the last church windows Chagall created.

Mysteries, Yes

Mary Oliver

Truly, we live with mysteries too marvelous

to be understood.

"How grass can be nourishing in the

mouths of the lambs.

How rivers and stones are forever

in allegiance with gravity

while we ourselves dream of rising.

How two hands touch and the bonds will

never be broken.

How people come, from delight or the

scars of damage,

to the comfort of a poem.

Let me keep my distance, always, from those

who think they have the answers.

Let me keep company always with those who say

“Look!” and laugh in astonishment,

and bow their heads."

Thank-you to all who take the time to comment on my photos, it is greatly appreciated.

A Kudu bull seen on this morning's game drive. In fact we came upon a small herd of Kudu on a small hill close to a body of water. Owner explained that by claiming a small hill on the grass plain, a few of them could keep watch for predators while the others grazed and went to the water hole.

Here was the benefit of a knowledgeable guide like Owner. We didn't just see Kudu, we understood what was happening and why. Below, another shot from this morning's Kudu encounter.

I lived some winters in Almuñecar, Andalucia. The last winters I met several economic immigrants from Senegal. I started photographing them, when they understood that they got the pictures on a CD they willingly put up so that they could send the portraits to the family in Africa.

One day I’ll face the Hell inside me

Someday I’ll accept what I have done

Sometime I’ll leave the past behind me

For now I accept who I’ve become

And now I see clearly

All these times I simply stepped aside

I watched but never really listened

As the whole world passed me by

All this time I watched from the outside

Never understood what was wrong or what was right

I apologize…

Walking in the Alps with friends was one of my favourite experiences. It is the first time that I really understood the meaning of sublime. Man against nature. . The beauty was overwhelming .
