Quick panoramic shot taken from the roof of the library on the main campus at Teesside University during a site visit.

Quite a difficult location to get a panorama shot using a wide angle lens due to the safety rails.

11 shots taken handheld and stitched in Hugin, post processed in a combination of photoshop and lightroom.

Shared car rental self-sevice; press release for Ann Arbor, Michigan:

"Zipcar, the world's largest car sharing service, has expanded its University of Michigan program by partnering with the getDowntown Program, the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority to bring car sharing to the downtown community as an environmentally-friendly transportation alternative. The partnership continues the city's commitment to invest in sustainable solutions and brings the successful University program to more Ann Arbor residents, students and businesses.

Beginning today, four self-service Zipcars – Toyota Matrix's and two Scion xD’s – will be available for use 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will be located at the Fourth and Catherine parking lot, near the Ann Arbor Farmer’s Market, and at the surface parking lot at Main and William, next to Palio Restaurant. This will bring a total of 17 Zipcars to the Ann Arbor community (with 13 already located on the University of Michigan campus). All local residents 21+ can join the service, with gas, maintenance, insurance and reserved parking included in low hourly and daily rates. All University of Michigan students 18+, faculty and staff will also be able to use the four vehicles located off campus.

"Zipcars will help us to meet our goal of providing more transportation options for Ann Arbor residents," said Ann Arbor Mayor John Hieftje.

Zipcar was selected as the community's car sharing partner based on its superior technology and 10-year track record of providing cities and 120 universities with a proven, cost effective, and environmentally-friendly transportation solution. To support the local economy, "

hard to see on 1:350,000 map, think this is Pennsylvanian gabbro and orthogneiss - interlayered hornblende pyroxene gabbro and monzonitic gneiss; overlain by the Skolai Group... and their metamorphosed equivalent, the Strelna Metamorphics ...Represents, in part, Pennsylvanian oceanic crust correlative with the diorite complex in northern Wrangell Montains and eastern Alaskan Range.

Bob McKenney, a 2002 KU graduate and co-lead facilitator for KU's upcoming LeaderShape Institute, began his leadership journey during his freshman year.

As a student, McKenney was involved in the Center for Community Outreach, Alternative Breaks, the Blue Prints Leadership Conference, and with his fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega. But what affected his life most was LeaderShape, where participants spend six days and five nights exploring their strengths, weaknesses, values, and visions.

“You’re given the time, tools, and space to discover who you are as an individual and as a leader,” McKenney said. "I have seen undergrads, graduate students, and university faculty experience things they had never seen before, and as a result, they become better versions of themselves. LeaderShape changed my life in ways I could never have imagined.”

Nalanda University was destroyed thrice: in the mid-5th (when it was only a few years old), early 7th, and late 12th centuries. The first two times, Nalanda was rebuilt by the rulers of the day. But by the time Turkish Muslim invaders destroyed it for a third time in 1197, the enthusiasm for Buddhist learning had long declined and there was no ruler in the region with enough clout to restore the institution to its former glory. As a result, Nalanda has languished in its ruins ever since.

The road to knowledge... Narrow, cold, dark, and fearful some times... It is a long way to a dark cave. During this walk, you will collect little boughs from the trees of wisdom. And when you finally enter the cave, you will find what is hidden in the dark, by lighting up your boughs with the fire of your endeavour.... It is then, that you will be enlightened...

Turn back... look again on the route you have taken...

And everything will be colorful and welcoming... Inviting you again to walk through the flowers of your achievement...

Good Luck...
