This design is a follow-up of the last typography experiment focusing on the symmetry of the word China. This design takes the symmetry further by integrating more symmetric elements into the design. The concept is inspired by the sticker designs by James White on Signalnoise.

Developing on from the initial ideas, the planning of a leaflet based around the theme ‘Bloodbath’
Cable Thief is the new typeface from Studio Disjointed that forms as part of an obsession with typography and the overhead power cables found across the rail network.
In the UK the theft of cable from rail networks has become a widespread problem that costs the network financially but also impacts directly on those using the service for travel.
The typeface is an experiment that looks at aspects of itself that are missing, the fragility of the font is held together by cables and pulleys. Without these the typeface would collapse.
Cable Thief will soon be available on print and T-Shirts through our face book page..
