937 passing over the Waianakarua River's North Branch bridge. The Road bridge behind the loco is 148 years old. Arched bridges are rare in N.Z. The pylons of the rail bridge are about 145.

They are old but they are still beautiful. And they are *together*. They remind me of "The Notebook" - the movie.

These two young Mallard Ducklings appear to have virtually reared themselves on the Bridgewater Canal. I did see Mum with three and then just three and now only two, but the survivors seem to be thriving and looking out for each other.

Two of a group of three I found together. The rut is over, deer are back in single-sex herds, and they will soon drop their antlers.

3 in a series of 3.

Conventinha, Loures, Portugal - I'm in the mood for shadows and abstracts?

{ Sat 2nd April }

A trip to the coast again today. Amazed at how quiet it was even although it was quite a nice day.

A possible contender for the light/shade challenge this month.

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

Two little fawns. After this shot, the bigger one got a little too playful for the smaller one. The little one ran away in a panic. Nice moment beforehand though.

- and two worlds meet, and intersect, and change -

t.e.

It occurs to me that this picture holds a TENSION which is appealing. Will these two collide? Are they moving? Dark/light. Partial view. Absence of color. I'm searching for more photo-talk in comments! That's one of the things Flickr is very good with --

Any thoughts, friends--passersby?

at the time of writing it has been snowing for 10 hours

If you run out of people you can always watch dogs, too!

Two Razorbills studiously ignoring each other.

I'm not one for brickheadz, pop vinyl, or chibi nonsense but my boi Two Tubes needed some love. You're welcome internet.

Together, hanging out, awaiting the coming winter
