Los Angeles, CA – This building is called “Two California Plaza” located in the Bunker Hill District. It is 229 meters high and was part of a three skyscraper project that never finished. Only two of the originally planned three buildings stand. Los Angeles is so spread out it’s difficult to get a perspective of a skyline. There seems to be very little continuity when it comes to the architecture in downtown LA, but then again if you are familiar with the diversity of the city it really does make sense.

Spotted these two old cruisers. The blue ladies frame had no name badge so don't know who made it. But the lime green one is a Schwinn-built B.F. Goodrich. From what I remember reading Schwinn built for them up until about the mid-50's. The Goodrich also has caliper brakes and a Sturmey-Archer hub. Methinks the brakes are a more recent addition, though I know Schwinn did use S-A hubs back in that era, but mostly on their "lightweight" bikes.

No child was harmed to make this image, and in actual fact it only took the promise of a biscuit to lure him into the cage! (he got one)

The poor little love is still quite poorly with his chicken pox scabs, but I thought his spotty face would look perfect in this cage I found a few months back in the woods.

Photographed these two flowers while visiting the Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota, FL. I was struck by the contrast of the rock behind the flowers...

Two NYPD police officers comfort one another near a memorial for a fallen colleague outside the 46th Precinct in Fordham, The Bronx on July 6, 2017 in New York City, USA.

Police officer Miosotis Familia was shot in the face by Alexander Bonds at about 12:30 a.m. as she sat in an NYPD command vehicle stationed near Morris Avenue and East 183rd Street in Fordham Heights.

This was shot during the Chicago Blizzard of 2011. Although all schools, college/universities, city and state offices were closed, the two people in front were standing waiting for a bus to come. The loop / downtown areas were the only ones at the beginning of this blizzard to have streets plowed. This area was one of the clearer streets in the city.

The Bandit edition Trans Am and the DMC-12. A friend of mine met us at the cosmosphere to show us his parents Bandit Trans-Am and we took some shots of it with another Delorean creation, the DMC-12

Nueva cámara, regalo de cumpleaños.

He tomado más de 2500 fotos, ninguna me gusta en verdad. Todas desenfocadas, borrosas, con tonos malísimos etc, etc.

Espero mejorar con la práctica.

Today was our second anniversary. We took the day off and went to where we had our wedding, Yonekura Hotel. As you can see in the picture, it was a beautiful place to have a wedding. We strolled around the Japanese garden, took a few pictures, reminisced, and of course kissed. The garden wasn't as near as beautiful as it was two years ago, I think because of the harsh winter. Then we ate at the Indian restaurant, Golden Palki, that is located in the hotel and which catered our reception.

After doing a little shopping we went to our favorite secluded beach for a relaxing time in the sun. It really just turned in to nap time, a savored experience these days. We gathered a few sand dollars and I scrolled a "HAPPY 2nd ANNIVERSARY" in the sand for all to see.

Last year we were in Hawaii so we didn't get to eat the famous anniversary cake so we took this day to courageously open the Tupperware to try two-year-old cake. And, it was still GOOD.

I am so thankful that God has given me such a wonderful life with Trish and now Roxanna too. I'm in awe of the change that can take place in such a short time, not only in circumstances, but in my heart. My love for Trish continues to mature and I am grateful that I have such an awesome wife to grow with.

The church at the front is called the Vlacheraina monastery and the one at the back is Pontikonisi monastery..which is on Mouse Island. It's called that because the white stairs leading up to the monastery is supposed to look like a mouses tail....but it's not on this...maybe it's round the back.

Two photos merged together because for some reason I didn't get a single photo of both!
