Again here are my two regular Rainbow Lorikeets kindly giving me a smile, while posing for a photo.

From last Halloween; my wife and daughter were a great witchy duo.

Yes, BN had two 9908s. Initially GN E7A 510 was numbered BN 9908 until it retired in April 1972. Then when BN was rebuilding CB&Q E-units into E9AMs, CB&Q E8A 9976 became E9AM 9908.

BN 9908 (ex-GN 510) at Superior, WI in April 1971. This is probably Train 53, the Badger, which left St. Paul in the morning and ran to Superior, WI with bus connection to Duluth. It returned as the Gopher in the evening as Train 40.

Just beyond their best, I can recognise that feeling!

Two fishing boats unloading the catch. Whitstable was famous for its 'Native Oysters' which were collected from beds beyond the low water mark from Roman times until the mid-20th century. This is celebrated at the annual Whitstable Oyster Festival. I can recommend the Lobster and fries.

I think they are brown argus as female common blues wouldn't flutter around together.

Two teapots & a cross-legged recliner! No wonder everything takes so long!

But only one shall be a family heirloom.

November afternoon walk at Tring Reservoirs.

Today I parked in Jevington and did my circular walk to Alfriston and back but with a bit more road walking than usual due to the river bursting its bank. Still it was cold and windy and so I was well wrapped up and saw very few people but made lots of very varied images of what I fancied with no particular thing in mind. There were many groups of Exmoor ponies grazing the river was extremely high and spring flowers were starting to bloom there were birds and the odd balloon.

I very rarely, if ever, post pictures of Mrs Rachel here, but we looked so good together cosplaying as Janet(s) that I've decided to make an exception.

The blouses are actually mens' shirts. Indeed I wore mine as a shirt the same evening for what turned out to be a surprise birthday party. Our daughter made the waistcoats and skirts.
