These two young Mallard Ducklings appear to have virtually reared themselves on the Bridgewater Canal. I did see Mum with three and then just three and now only two, but the survivors seem to be thriving and looking out for each other.
Two of a group of three I found together. The rut is over, deer are back in single-sex herds, and they will soon drop their antlers.

These are the only other nutria I found on week 3 so four in all. These were foraging on a little floating island of debris.

"there's a ghost in my lungs and it sighs in my sleep,
wraps itself around my chest, as it softly weeps."
i love how music, videography, cinematography all inspires, how it fits together, how each piece connects to each, as if bit is a colour that makes the final canvas, and that canvas wouldn't be right without them all. the world would be such a bleak place.
i need to up my game, i need to get better, i need to push myself; i'm flagging.
TWO DAY WORKSHOP
Sat 2nd - Sun 3rd December 2017 £295

I captured this one morning while leading a workshop in September 2015. Everybody was set up and waiting for the sun to rise and this particular morning revealed one of the finest sunrises I can ever remember. The colours grew and grew and grew more intense with each passing minute and we all stood there so happy at what we were witnessing as well as capturing on camera.
For me, I love the reflections of those wonderful fiery colours in the water left behind on the beach as the tide went out. The two hundred and four-year old lighthouse you see in the distance shone its light every few seconds. Whenever I see a lit lighthouse before sunrise, it always makes me smile for some reason.

Another shot of the Sugarloaf, but this time from Vartry Reservoir in Wicklow. Spot the two boats on the right.
It occurs to me that this picture holds a TENSION which is appealing. Will these two collide? Are they moving? Dark/light. Partial view. Absence of color. I'm searching for more photo-talk in comments! That's one of the things Flickr is very good with --
Any thoughts, friends--passersby?
Despite the ice coating the rocks and the platform on which they stood, these two guys toughed out the cold wind off the lake to try and catch a meal.

Smile on Saturday theme is "two times two". For this theme you should take a picture of 'twice two similar items'.
I was standing in the middle of the road with my camera (it's probably how I will end up getting killed one day) thinking - 'that's a nice pair of billboards', when the two men appeared and began chatting about the poster. Then the lady walked into shot - travelling from left to right. I waited until she reached the second billboard but was unable to fit both billboards in frame at the same time - so I panned very quickly firing off two shots. Then merged the two images together. First time I have had a go doing that. Winsely Street in the Fitzrovia district of London. 2015.
Another picture from yesterday playing with my new iphone 12. Almost missed this one trying to focus. (Sunday Church clothing)
