See adjacent shots - not my original idea, and not a rip-off of Monet's Rouen cathedral series... It has simply been always interesting to try different views of the same place...
When I was playing around with this image one day I ended up dividing it into three and hereby creating a triptych which I liked. Somehow it looked to me like a big window. I considered removing the crane on the left but then left it in because that's life these days, isn't it?
Polaroid Time Zero triptych. The film expired in 1981 and I shot this at the end of 2012 after transferring the film to newer IP cartridges with good batteries. Amazing that it could possibly last that long without chemicals drying out.

Four equestrian sculptures are decorating the Anichkov Bridge in Saint Petersburg, depicting four stages of Horse Taming. This triptych shows the most dramatic first stage.
Designed in 1850 by Peter Klodt they symbolise the might of man over nature, thus Industrial revolution.

I really wanted these three as a triptych, as I feel there's a form of visual narrative between them. They were also taken very close together.
