Smile on Saturday and "triptych"
This topic gave me the idea for a gentle watercolor triptych, although I would also like to print this one and keep it on the wall.
HSoS!
Taken at the same spot as the sun was rising. I combined these shots in a triptych after I had post processed them with a zoom blur.

I thought that these three 'Reimaginings', two of which I haven't shown on Flickr before, look quite good together.
‘Reimaginings’ are my square-cropped images taken of marks, weathered paint, and rust seen by me in the urban environment which appeal to me as abstract shapes and forms. Some of these photographs are segments of faded and much repainted and over-painted graffiti surfaces, paint spills and general weathering.
Had a competition for three images on a theme of your choice, so looked back through some Japan photos and thought these three worked together. Apologies as they have all been posted before, albeit one in colour and not as a triptych!
A pair of cardinals has used our back porch baker's rack two years in a row to make a nest and give us a closeup look for the 3 weeks between nest making, laying eggs, feeding the young and then having them leave to the nearby woods.

I captured many shots of the beautiful bluebells in the woodland and glades at the Arlington Bluebell Walk (Bates Farm).
This tourist attraction is open each year whilst the bluebells are in bloom and offer the opportunity for local charities to raise money serving refreshments and drinks to visitors.
Happy 'Roidweek!
These pictures were taken at my first analog workshop "Film Extrem" in Berlin last weekend. It was a lot of fun and got me some fresh ideas for new projects...
Thanks Chris and Moni!

ICM Triptych
I am not really an ICM Tog but having recently gone to Micheldever Woods for a sunset that never materialised the light was really flat so rather than just write the trip off I decided to do a bit of experimenting. There is something about beech trees and bluebells that I find suits ICM.
Decided I'd create a Triptych from 3 of the images I shot and here they are.

See adjacent shots - not my original idea, and not a rip-off of Monet's Rouen cathedral series... It has simply been always interesting to try different views of the same place...
