i'm not sure exactly what this pattern is called. i think it is a variation of pascal's triangle.
i do know it is a fractal.
other than that it is fun to draw.

found a simple way of smoothly attaching these triangles to the side of my ship. The whole thing is 3 bricks high and 2 bricks deep, making it easy to build into existing structures. It is also easy to light up as I can wind the EL wire between each clip.

I learned something unique today, as we walked around earlier this morning into a very cool store that caters to vintage items along with crystals/rocks. This particular stone immediate caught my eye for this Friday's challenge. This stone is named, Titanium Obsidian. Enjoy.

What could be more triangular than a Toblerone? Sorry it's not a full bar, but at least there are no tooth marks on it ;-)
Sous l’ombre du silence,

Ses lignes tendues tracent un dialogue ancien
entre la terre et la lumière,

Le fond de verdure, rendu au gris,

La racine, elle, s’enracine dans l’éternité,
triomphant du chaos dans sa géométrie sacrée.
Ainsi, sous le voile monochrome,
le jardin tout entier semble suspendu,
témoin muet d’une danse intemporelle
entre l’éphémère et l’immuable.

I finished my triangle quilt this weekend! I was going to add a pieced binding and had it all cut out and ready. Then I went to get the mail and opened a fabric purchase, laid it near the quilt and discovered I liked the striped fabric so much, I used it for the binding! pretty great timing! The binding is Alexander Henry seaweed stripe.
A couple mistakes by the novice quilter (me). Used organic natural cotton batting. Not good for a quilt with lots of white-I can see all the little brown specks that are in this batting...
Also, used cream colored thread to quilt on a white fabric.
Also, got a big bubble in the backing after free motion quilting.
such is life.
