Brand new Triangle Park , dedicated to people who have served the community though the military or in any civic manner . There have probably been people serving the community since before there was a USA .Nestled between the north-bound and south-bound lanes of Easton Road on New Britain Road, this park memorializes those who have given their service to our community. A beautiful spot to stop and reflect
Located at 1st Avenue S. and Railroad Way S.
Like many of the buildings south of Yesler Way, the Triangle Building was completed during the second post-fire building boom, in 1910. It began as a bar and hotel, and at one point (likely in the 1930s and '40s) a brothel. The entrance to the hotel was on the Railroad Avenue side.
The original Triangle Bar closed in 1929, a result of Prohibition, and the space was occupied by Western Union until 1940. Lou's Tavern moved in and was a neighborhood mainstay during the 1960s. In 1976, the building was granted National Historic Landmark status and later underwent renovations. It reopened in 1981 as the Triangle Pub.

Probably the first assignment for Rico's drawing class I hadn't uploaded till now, simple geometry with shading.
Let me know what you think of this one. I find it quite fitting that a bank group presents itself in the shape of a triangle, trying to symbolise power.
I tried to give it kind of a sinister twist by altering the colour, although i find the result rather romanticising now. Maybe I should use other effects...suggestions?
