Three sheets of 4mm ply installed in the ceiling & wiring for the strip lights installed.
Wall panels are 7mm ply - first wall panel installed - lots of more of those to go!
Resurrected after been stood in a field for 18 months, needing only a handbrake cable and a sidelight bulb holder for the test.
I was interviewed for the Dandenong Leader newspaper on Tuesday (17th April) because of my involvement in the iiNet TopGeek competition. The journalist who interviewed me arranged for a photographer to take some photos to go along with the story, so I selected some of my largest rockets to take along.

The Transit Connect shares parts with the Ford Focus, replacing the earlier Ford Escort and Courier vans. It is sold in Europe and the USA. It comes in short or long wheelbase versions and can tow almost a metric tonne in weight. A passenger version, known as the Tourneo-Connect, is also produced as well as a double-cab model with a row of seats behind the driver's seats.

Power for the lights, TV, power outlets and USB charging points come out here - switch panel and battery isolation to be installed (after carpet). Speaker hole there, too.

The plywood floor is both better and worse than I thought. Once I removed the carpet, I found that glue or resin had been spilt on it. I have renoved the high spots and have started filling the low spots. I will be laying vinyl in the floor of the van, so it doesn't need to be perfect.

This is the Liver Buildings reflected in the windscreen of a ropey looking Transit van parked outside. I liked the slightly fisheye like distortion effect the windscreen gave.

Used Microsoft's "ICE" program to create a panorama - didn't come out exactly right, but thought this looked very cool :) Makes the van look super deep!!
