Me on delivery in Trafford Park Manchester.
i am about half way around my delivery here. and i am soked , the rain started as i left the office, about an hour and a half before i took this shot, and carried on till had finished.

this shot was taken out of the back of a Transit van, with the self timer.
The Ford Transit Connect is a compact panel van developed by Ford Europe and derived from the Ford Focus. The first generation was designed by Peter Horbury and introduced in 2002 to replace the older Ford Escort and Fiesta-based Courier van ranges, which had ceased production in the same year.
It has been imported to the North American market since the 2010 model year. In North America, the Transit Connect does not have a direct predecessor; the closest vehicle to its size was the standard-length Ford Aerostar cargo van, which ceased production in 1997.
The Ford Tourneo Connect, a leisure activity vehicle, is a Transit Connect with side windows and rear seats. All Transit Connects bound for the United States are imported in this configuration to avoid the 25% "chicken tax" on imported light trucks. In 2013, US Customs told Ford that they must stop this practice of importing vans disguised as passenger cars.

A Whitelaws of Stonehouse, Volvo Wright Eclipse super low floor easy access bus, on a local service number 253 to Hamilton Bus Station has set down at a bus stop to load and offload passengers. Unfortunately, whilst doing so a road traffic collision occurred further up the road. Luckily the RAC and Strathclyde Police’s Road’s Policing Unit (Traffic Cops) are quickly at locus - with the RPU’S BMW in fend off position to close the lane.

If you live in a housing estate like I do, where these noisy fuckers come in twice a day, you will be happy to see one rusting away in the scrapyard.

Taken from our rowing boat almost swamped by the wash from this vessel. They seemed huge to us as children whilst we were holidaying at St.Osyth.

A Network Rail/BTP level crossing camera van at Balnacra level crossing - i a nice spot for a poasting as i cant imagine it is a very busy crossing on the A890 in the Highalnds!
Here's the main switch panel for the van. The big "on/off" switch is a battery isolator - I can turn off everything in one go :)
Laser cut from 3mm acrylic. I spray painted the yellow, green and red before I removed the protective paper from the acrylic.

Grampian Transport Museum Alford Aberdeenshire
This year we have support from Ford through local dealer Lawrence of Kemnay. That will ensure an excellent Ford presence with activities and displays (and some very special show offers on Ford merchandise!).
2018 is a major anniversary for the Blue Oval – it is 50 years since the launch of the legendary Escort! AllFord wants to celebrate this with at least 50 Escorts at the show, to be arranged in a ‘50’ formation in the centre of the arena. With this in mind please speak to everybody you know with an Escort (or several!) and ask them to bring them all.
2018 is also the 25th anniversary of the Mondeo so if you know anyone with a special Mondeo please encourage them to enter and bring it along on 19th August.
AllFord at Alford is ‘A celebration of Ford throughout the ages’ and we would like to see cars from every era of production so if you know of any old, interesting or special Ford or Ford powered cars, please forward this email to their owners and let us achieve our aim of making the 2018 event very special indeed.

A Syracuse Police Department Ford Transit (Unit 595) used as a prisoner transport van. This van is the newer of the two prisoner transport vans in SPD service.
Insulation now installed over the cabin.
There's quite a bit of space above the cab, so will build some storage space & install a TV :)
