Der Personenverkehr zwischen Rijeka und Ogulin ist mittlerweile leider sehr übersichtlich geworden. Fotografenfreundlich verkehrt noch der morgendliche Pu 4603 von der Adriaküste Richtung Ogulin. Am Morgen des 15.04.2024 erwarteten wir diese Leistung bei Brod Moravice, 1141 377 übernahm die Traktion.
Unfortunately, passenger traffic between Rijeka and Ogulin has now become very limited. The morning Pu 4603 still runs from the Adriatic coast towards Ogulin. On the morning of April 15th, 2024 we were expecting this train near Brod Moravice, 1141 377 was leading the train.
A welded rail train running as W014-19 heads north through Romulus behind a Slug and Mother combo. The train was headed for Grand Rapids to lay new rail on the GR Terminal Sub.

The eastbound Rio Grande Ski Train exits Moffat Tunnel at East Portal, Colorado, on March 21, 1997. A pair (only three built and painted for D&RGW) of Rio Grande EMD GP60s power the passenger train, led by No. 3155.

Deze 63 km lange smalspoorlijn uitgebaat door de SNCF loopt van Villefranche-de-Conflent tot Latour-de-Carol. In Latour-de-Carol kan overgestapt worden op de trein naar Barcelona. Er komen in Latour drie treinlijnen samen, elk met een andere spoorbreedte! De lijn klimt onderweg naar het op 1593 meter hoogte gelegen Bolquère, het hoogst gelegen treinstation in beheer van de SNCF. De lijn is geëlektrificeerd met 850 volt gelijkspanning door middel van een derde rail.

The Jacobite is a steam locomotive-hauled tourist train service that operates over part of the West Highland Railway Line in Scotland. It has been operating under various names and with different operators every summer since 1984. It has played an important role in sustaining a scenic route.

These are the Mail Rail trains stored and abandoned in the storage area to which no one now has access as the key to the tunnel has been lost!
The Mail Rail tunnels were used to transport mail all around London on a network of automated underground electric trains. It opened in 1927, and only ceased service in 2003.

My Father in Law, waiting for us to meet him and go for a train ride at the National Capital Trolley Museum in Colesville, MD.. I think some people though he was a museum prop, he looks like he is the train conductor. I love the way he is dressed .. : )
In het paasweekend was de Dinner Train weer te zien in het Groene Hart. TCS 102001 (ex-NS 1835) rijdt bij het sportpark Cromwijck in Woerden met een kalm gangetje in de richting van Bodegraven en de eindbestemming Haarlem.

The old Kensington Train Station operated from 1905 to 1983. A national historic site, it is one of the few examples of a boulder station.
I came to this spot to photograph an industrial scene, which can barely be seen in the background through the heavy fog. Instead I got this shot of a train hauling limestone to a processing plant. Ironically, the industrial site is a place that produces white lime from limestone, and has its own quarry across the road. But I wanted to show the power of these locomotives for 117 pictures in 2017, #76 power/powerful.
The 07.10 South Bank Tees Dock to Boulby Mine empties hauled by 66559 at Hunt Cliff. It was still dark when we set of walking here from Saltburn, and we were met by a brilliant sunrise as we walked round the edge of the cliff as we approached this point, and still enjoyed the early glow as the train passed
