isn't it sometimes so damn wonderful :)
When I went to bed yesterday I realized I have been nothing for two days. No school, no work, no homework, no preparation, no nothing! Just chilling and watching my Tv series with a glass of coke with ice in my hand, lying in sun, experimenting with cooking, reading tangible photo magazines, eating apple pie, making plans and catching inspiration.
Sometimes it's just what's needed.

Congrats to the Tasks and Calendar teams, and especially to Gary Boyer for driving this thing along. I'll proud of what they have accomplished since I rolled off the project. More good stuff to come.

I toying with the idea of adding a carrot at the end of my to do lists each day. Today I'm dangling soba noodles this afternoon as my reward for scratching off completed tasks.

Tattoo by the wonderful Lelia at The Needle's Kiss in Townsville, QLD
*I had serious lighting issues but wanted to post the photo quickly - the tattoo is darker and more distinct than it looks in this photo. A much better photo of the tattoo itself can be seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/robandstephanielevy/4616960925/in/s...

When I was a lab technician back in the early 1970s I made this "clipboard" that slipped into the top pocket of my lab coat. I used it for jotting down "jobs" that I needed to remember. Not too sure why I've kept it all these years. The foldback clip, which is still as strong as the day it was manufactured, is still gripping a few of the original hand cut sheets of paper.
The reason for this outburst of nostalgia? One of my friends has recently reminded me of my compulsion to fill my top lab coat pocket with pens, pencils and felt tips.
I'm using a little notebook I purchased from Urban Outfitters. I added my own touch to it. I punched holes on the front & back covers & attached a thin ribbon to keep it tightly closed. I also used number & letter stickers for the title. I also stamped hearts on the edges of the book (not shown here).
