a way to create a to-do list so that I can VISUALLY see my list shrinking. As I complete a task, I pull down a note. It's a real sense of accomplishment!

Trying to determine if the back tire/wheel is out of balance, or if the tire itself is a bit out of round. I think the tire itself is a bit out of round. I will put "REPLACEMENT" on my ToDoList, if it gets worse, or if it keeps me from traveling at highway speed safely.

Pay no attention to the "Grey Blob" on the muffler! - The stud for the original stainless steel shield was broken off in shipment, so I merely puttied over it with some high temp repair compound from AutoZone.

Minh's to-do list :)

Tododoc is my first AIR application. It is just at early alpha development stage. You can take your own copy from the webpage - www.tododoc.com

The problem with to-do lists is, you have to look at them. As I don't live on the computer, and computer based scheduling is out, I came up with a simple technology fix. I put the slip into the scheduled to-do list holder and set the alarm clock or watch (previous photo). When the alarm goes off I look at the list. Simple. To make sure I don't miss an appointment or do an important task on another day, I set the task in the calendar on my mobile phone. Even when the phone is switched off, the alarm will still come on.

I also use the count-down timer if I want to do something in so many minutes or hours and I'm likely to be outside. Sometimes I find it easier to set the timer than set the watch with its complicated menu. The timer is small and slips into a pocket. If I'm at my desk I just set my alarm clock with a simple mechanical hand. I only do it as complicated as I have to.

This was what Eden wrote down when we were brainstorming about what to do with her Uncle Ted and his family when they were in town. We did not end up riding the ferry--too rainy--or going to the Met, which was closed; we tried to go to MOMA but there was a line around the block. We did go to Veniero's and out to dinner, and we did draw!

I don't like being without my Moleskine so I made some purses. You can put your mini or Volant Molekine and a pen or pencil in them. As well as the other necessary stuff...

To Do List is a personal project about the things we cherish and aspire to do in our every day lives. Hope it inspires you!

I bought this at Edward's Luggage: a pocket leather notepad and business card holder, with pen. It is more efficient and portable than any PDA. It costs less than $20 and Edward's Luggage even sells replacement notepads.

It would be safe to say my husband quite liked this list.

That photo of us is about 2 years old!

And by the way, is taking a photo of a photo of yourself a self-portrait? Mmmm...

Avignon (Provence, South France)

In 1309 the city was chosen by Pope Clement V as his residence when the city and the surrounding Comtat Venaissin were ruled by the kings of Sicily from the house of Anjou, and from 9 March 1309 till 13 January 1377 was the seat of the Papacy instead of Eternal Rome. French King Philip the Fair, who had inherited from his father all the rights of Alphonse de Poitiers, the last Count of Toulouse, made them over to Charles II, King of Naples and Count of Provence (1290). Nonetheless, Phillip was a shrewd ruler. Inasmuch as the eastern banks of the Rhone marked the edge of his kingdom, when the river flooded up into the city of Avignon, Phillip taxed the city since during periods of flood, the city technically lay within his domain. Regardless, on the strength of the donation of Avignon, Queen Joanna I of Sicily, as countess of Provence, sold the city to Clement VI for 80,000 florins (9 June, 1348) and, though it was later the seat of more than one antipope, Avignon belonged to the Papacy until 1791, when, during the disorder of the French Revolution, it was reincorporated with France.
