A timeless shot of the top of Caen Hill Locks, where many canal boats serve as homes to their owners. On days like this, it must be an idyllic way to live.
Elenore, a feisty octogenarian beauty, poses for a timeless portrait. I take her portrait every month, and she enjoys modeling for me, so you might see more of her soon.
Rob and I photographed my sister's wedding last weekend in Sauble Beach. We snuck away from the party to capture some sunset pictures. It was absolutely stunning!

The unsolved mysteries of the rain forest are formless and seductive.
They are like unnamed islands hidden in the blank spaces of old maps, like dark shapes
Glimpsed descending the far wall of a reef into the abyss.
They draw us forward and stir strange apprehensions. The unknown and prodigious are
drugs to the scientific imagination, stirring insatiable hunger with a single taste.
In our hearts we hope we will never discover everything.
We pray there will always be a world like this one at whose edge I sat in darkness.
The rain forest in its richness is one of the last repositories on earth of that timeless dream.

My wife bought me this wrist watch as a wedding gift on our honeymoon. (I bought her a matching one, so now we’ve got his and hers.) I thought it would make a great object for a product shot test shoot.
Strobist information: A single snooted 430EX in manual (triggered by a ST-E2) was fired from camera right onto a white paper that was to the left of the watch. A big black paper was in the background, and a metallic (silver) paper was underneath the watch.
Adalaj Stepwell (Gujarati: અડાલજની વાવ) or Rudabai Stepwell is a stepwell located in the village of Adalaj, close to Ahmedabad city and in Gandhinagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It was built in 1499 by Mahmud Begada for his queen Rudabai, wife of Veersinh, the Vaghela chieftain. It is an example of Indo-Islam fusion architecture work.
We associate the fall of sand with the flow of time through the hourglass and many other devices. However there is nothing that stops time like watching and hearing sand give in to gravity.

This little spot along the Independence Trail has a rather timeless quality to it. It makes a degree of sense as this entire trail was once the domain of the gold miners during the gold craze in California. Before that, the Maidu people walked these trails for centuries. Makes me feel young and that's a good thing.
Happy Fence Friday everyone and have a wonderful weekend.

So this is a better shot of my haircut, I love it!
One of the things that most caught my attention of Lisbon, is its feeling of timeless. Everywhere, at each corner. Everything. It seems as if time doesn't run affect this city. This tram was no exception. I'm sure there is an echo of this in their souls.
Shooting into the sun may be something that was once looked upon as an amateur move. Getting married is kind of like shooting into the sun-it's hard to see what's ahead, but the hope is that you'll end up with something beautiful.
Congratulations Eunice & David-from this side of the lens, your future looks bright! :)
This is a simple candid shot, see a preview sheet of the wedding or visit A Match Made In Heaven for more!
We live a small coastal town. This painted mural adorns the side of a building in the historic downtown district. It's a beautiful place to see and we so enjoy living in this NC colonial capital. What struck me after seeing these photos...how utterly timeless Splash looks. He could just as easily been strolling down the boardwalk in this 18th century scene, with the woman carrying her parasol. These little poodles have delighted admirers for eras. How divine!
Ooops! ...another week...another wrong final pick. Probably should have gone with this one
