I was wondering whether yes or not Flickr would like an "old" 575. But it doesn't matter for me, that was my dream car a while ago so I absolutely wanted to upload it. I just tried not to make a meh shot of it, making this 575 a bit interesting.
One of the 2549 units that were produced between 2002 and 2006.

I love this Per-Una dress it has a wonderful timeless 'peasant' country girl look. And no I'm not making excuses, sometimes I even like it a bit more when they are slightly blurred as not only does it add to that feeling of age it gives them a dream quality. Just think this might have been a girl standing somewhere in Europe in the last century looking forward to a great life and the next month the tanks rolled in.

Naoussa - Night of Greek folk music and dances
The custom “Genitsaroi and Boules” is a very old custom of Naoussa town of Macedonia ,North Greece, which takes place every year at the days of the early spring. All the elements (symbols, masks, etc) lead us to the old times to the worship of the ancient god Dionysus and the days of the ancient fest “anthestiria” which means flowerings).
The main elements of the custom which moved from a very strict Oral tradition are:
• The establishment of the group, which requires strict compliance with and acceptance of certain rules of custom event to participate therein.
• The gender of the operands is only young men.
• The female form (the bride – called Mpoula) impersonates always by a man and represents the coming of the Nature and the resurrection from the winter to the spring.
• The clothing, disguise and behaviour of operands are paternal governed by rules.
• The musical instruments, dance, and the route around the limits of the old town is predetermined by the ritual, followed unchanged over the years.

This is one of those shots which turned out completely different to what i planned. I had the origional idea to take a shot of myself with a palm full of water and then place a swan on top of that, however the water wasn't showing up on film that well. I then moved onto simply dropping water from my hands into the kitchen sink. This was the result until i came across some old memory cards and to my surprise had some unloaded shots on them. Some of those shots were of some blue hair gel i had which contained a lot of bubbles so i thought id give it a try as a layer and hey presto! Quite surprised about the water trails in this, gives me the idea of trying it out with sand.....now im off to eat, havn't had anything since breakfast!
In this realm of light and shadow, nature plays a game of scale. Is it a colossal cliff or a humble stone? Only the whispers of the waves hold the secret, as they embrace the shore with tales of eons past.
