It was getting rather dark at the time I took this shot but I managed to squeeze in a five minute long exposure and let the time enchant the rocks and clouds. It was the kind of scene that always makes me think of a long exposure. There were no cascades and the water was flowing in and out nicely and I am a sucker for that misty effect that is often a result of such a shot.

Gerbi's anyone?

.. by the way

However, the general meaning of the gerbera is a simple but heartfelt compliment: "You make everything much nicer!" Says the cheerful colorful plant in the language of flowers. It stands for sincerity, appreciation and the confession of friendship.

Thanks for stopping by and a good start to the weekend all :-)

Westminster Parliament with Big Ben clock, London, England. Blending of 4 exposures ranging from 16s to 2min, taken at sunset with 10 stop B&W ND filter. Notice that because of the long exposure the minute hand of the Big Ben disappeared.

In the shadow of an art gallery, a waitress enjoys a brief moment of respite before resuming her service. Between her glass of water and her phone, time seems to stand still, as if she had momentarily escaped her daily routine. Behind her, the artworks and the violin reflect another world, almost unreal, where melancholy and introspection intertwine. A pause, a breath, before diving back into the bustle of the night.

Kindness is timeless

Love is so easy to give

It just takes a moment

To show somebody that you care x2

In the world that we live in

Everybody wants to be so cruel

To be in the in-crowd

Got the hottest clothes, the hottest shoes

We're reading the tabloids

And we're flossing in the club

But the freshest thing you can do is

Give someone your love

Kindness is timeless

Love is so easy to give

It just takes a moment

To show somebody you care

Kindness is timeless

Love is so easy to give

It just takes a moment to...

Give someone your love

To give someone your lalala love

To give someone your love

Give someone your love

Your lalalala love

Give someone your lalala love

The clothes that your wearing

It will one day be out of style

The car that your driving

One day will vax out in miles

Your hair and your makeup

And the time that it takes up

It will take the same care of

Ya give someone ya love

Kindness is timeless

Love is so easy to give

It just takes a moment

To show somebody you care

Kindness is timeless

Love is so easy to give

It just takes a moment to...

To give someone your love

To give someone your lalala love

To give someone your love

Give someone your love

Your lalalala love

Give someone your lalala love

Give someone you love

Cause kindness is timeless

Setagaya, Tokyo

Taken at Thousand Island Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, Eastern Sierras, on October 6th, 2012

A place of timeless beauty, Thousand Island Lake sits high up in the Sierra near Mammoth Lakes, California. In this shot I wanted to give a sense of the enduring wonder of the place so I included these ancient granite blocks. I also used a minute-long exposure to give an ephemeral feel to the clouds.

Thanks for looking!

Where the time went

I’m feeling timeless

Don’t waste my time

Unless it’s for a good time, yeah

Where my phone at

What’s the address

Who got the Uber

What’s your cash app

I don’t touch that white shit

That is the for them white kids

Y’all be out here wildin'

Snorting shit in lines yeah

That is not my preference

I don’t got a death wish

My minds already hectic

I am way too reckless

I don’t pop them perkys, I don’t sip no lean

I already hurt me, so really what’s the need

You might just catch rolling, cause I love my green

You say you like that dirty, well shit I’m Mr. Clean

I am getting older

Yeah, my time is getting valuable

I am out order

Wanna see me yeah it’s taxable

You say you wanna know me

Yeah well I am not attachable

I cannot do casual

Please don’t be impractical

Don’t know where time went, somebody let me know

Been out here too long yeah, think it’s time go

Damn I think I lost my phone man, where the hell it go

Think I left it at home yeah, too fucked up to know

Where the time went

I’m feeling timeless

Don’t waste my time

Unless it’s for a good time, yeah

Where my phone at

What’s the address

Who got the Uber

What’s your cash app

Oh you want my Snapchat

Expecting me to snap back

Your DMs in our group chat

You ain’t shit we knew that

Next time don’t hit me up

When you hit my friends first

You are really dumb as f*ck

Oh now you got no answer

Y’all are really funny

When I say shit I ain’t bluffing

I will do it no discussion

Y’all are dirty, y’all disgusting

Mistake that lust for love

Cause I want someone to trust

Hold me down when it gets tough

All this back and forth for what, yeah

I don’t pop them perkys, I don’t sip no lean

I already hurt me, so really what’s the need

You might just catch rolling, cause I love my green

You say you like that dirty, well shit I’m Mr. Clean

STARTS WITH T is topic for Thursday, Sept. 28, Group Our Daily Challenge

nothing lasts forever but now is always here

The UK has over 4,000 miles of inland waterways. These canals and rivers flow through cities, past homes, offices and across the countryside.

According to Historic UK, the Chinese were the early pioneers of canal building. They built the Grand Canal of China in the tenth century. In the year 983, Chhiao Wei-Yo is thought to have invented the pound lock which is still used in Britain today. Most early canals were extensions to natural rivers.

However, Roman engineers in Britain had built the Fossdyke connecting Lincoln to the River Trent around AD50, for both drainage and navigation purposes.

In Britain, canal building came of age during the second half of the eighteenth century. It was this mode of transport that helped enable the industrial revolution.

i'm burnin' for you

I wish so often that I had more time to do what I want/need/ or nothing at all. I'm always on the clock whether I'm running late for school, have assignments to do, errands to run, or am literally on the clock at work. Also, I feel like I need to point out how IMPOSSIBLE it is to balance a chair on a mattress and then sit on it leaning back. I toppled over backwards along with the chair on my first try!!

Yesterday ended up being fantastic!! Got a massage, got sushi and outback, ate some more later that night (it's a wonder that I can even move), watched movies, etc. etc. and I got to wake up this morning 100% relaxed :) gonna go get my daily dose of coffee and then off to work as always!!

Hope everyone's day is peachy and mangoey and whatnot!

:) xx

P.S. A massive shout-out to everyone on here, you are all so kind and cheer me up when I'm down or feeling like my work isn't up to par. Thank you!!!
