Also from yesterday. Train travelling is part of my life at the moment,so this is a scene that I can relate to so well!

These dolls give me hope that civilization is not lost

Sometimes they bloom early, sometimes late. All in response to temperature and light and more subtle things we can only guess at. But the dance is timeless. Magnolia Merrill (Magnolia x loebneri 'Merrill').

So glad to report that the computer is back, apparently fixed, and seems to be running even faster than usual. It's a relief to be sitting in front of it.

I wanted the first photo back to be a good one, so I chose this. Studio work ought to be timeless, and I'd like to think this portrait fits that description.

Big, fluffy snowflakes fell from low-hanging clouds and gave a captivating atmosphere to downtown Revelstoke.

I couldn't find any historical information about the clock other than it's old and ornate.

Timeless Memories (162, 142, 20)

This slide of the Soo Line Stevens Point roundhouse looks like it was taken 10 years before I took it in 1984. Take the GP38-2 out of the shot and it could be from the 1960's.

Just when I thought all of the flutterbys were out in the Sunflower Fields, I came across this one who had the Lantana beds all to himself. Their wings always remind me of stained glass windows. Have a Great Sunday.

Time is very slow for those who wait

very fast for those who are scared

very long for those who lament

very short for those who celebrate

For those who love... time is eternal.

Lots of challenges getting on to Flickr still my fine flickr friends. It appears Bad Panda is the Hungary of the Upload World and not allowing me entry ....so I am trying to wiggle under the fence to get in.

Shot from Bali - pulled car over on the way to Echo Beach as was struck by this elderly gentleman working in his paddy field. He stood ramrod straight and looked directly into the camera. His equanimity and dignity were humbling to me who shys away from the camera.

I see fire, determination, peace, gentleness, wisdom and sadness in his eyes...what do you see ?

Bear with me until I can get full access on here to catch up on your wonderful shots.

The Arches and this area's land has a timeless, indestructible look that is misleading. This area is a very fragile high desert ecosystem. Effected by wind, rain, snow, runoff, dust storms and visitors.

In this photo the sun has given the sandstone a radiant orange color.

Funny thing is, it is hot here 80 degree's and yet there is still snow on the mountains in the back ground.

A timeless scene from a branch line somewhere in England or Wales as passengers leave a train at a wayside halt from a humble DMU.

Actually the preserved class 108 unit at Carrog on the Llangollen Railway at their summer DMU gala in 2017.

It was such a nice day!

A candid moment in the heart of Rome. Her laughter, spontaneous and bright, cuts through the summer heat. With the Colosseum watching in the background, this simple scene becomes something timeless — a joyful pause in the middle of history.

In 1991, a full-blown sugar beet campaign came to the Klamath Basin. Although the crop was new to the area, the method of transporting the beets to a refinery for processing into sugar had been used for decades. At Stronghold, California on Black Friday 1991 (before the day after Thanksgiving was enshrined with that name), an ancient beet rack is loaded with produce from nearby fields.
