Processing notes: I was originally planning to post this in color but out of curiosity, I thought I'd see what it would look like in B&W. It was then that I noticed that, minus the color, there's not much in the shot that gives away what time period it was taken.
A bit of research reveals that the hill shown has been a popular tobogganing spot for generation after generation since 1911. With a little soft-focus, sepia tone and an antiquish texture, I think the scene could easily pass for a hundred years ago.
In the age of SmartPhones, the Internet and computer gaming, it seems some things remain timeless.

Captured on a beautiful evening with low tide. The light was probably one of the best I've seen in a while.
A monochromatic marvel captured in Old Phuket Town - a clock tower gracefully reaching towards the heavens. This iconic structure stands as a silent witness to the passage of time, its intricate details telling stories of a bygone era. A timeless portrait, where history meets the sky.

Though this is in the comments of the last photo, i've decided to add some text and upload it because i like it so much.
Not the act of reading (as reading a book), but my city of Reading (pron. 'redding') in Royal Berkshire. As shops close and crowds slowly walk away, Broad Street looks and feels even more timeless...
Another shot taken from my trip to Porthallow in Cornwall, nice long exposure with a very calm tide worked well with this.

My aunt and uncle.
They're the most active octogenarians you'll ever meet - they like to travel and do little things like bike across China. ....They've been married for so long that they've lived in the same house for over 50 years. And they really are this affectionate after all those years. It's kind of wonderful.
