The wonderful inner harbour at Mevagissey.
I enjoyed a delightful early morning shoot with both mist and glorious sunrise combining for a special moments of light
Taken while sitting after swimming at my favorite beach. It's my favorite because it's so much more secluded than many in the area and takes some effort to walk to the sand. The dunes are expansive and beautiful, a natural preserve of wildlife of all kinds.

A timeless black-and-white architectural study capturing the weathered elegance of a historic building, where stone textures and dramatic light evoke a strong sense of history and atmosphere.
Sitting area in Fotomuseum Den Haag. Every time I am fascinated by the sleek look of this sitting area and by the diffuse light that seeps through the curtains
A B&W image capturing the upper section of the Marion County Courthouse located in Knoxville, Iowa. Constructed in 1896, this three-story building showcases Romanesque Revival architecture and is crafted from sandstone. Here, I am highlighting the central pavilion, which is adorned with corner turrets and intricate stone patterns. In my opinion, the monochrome processing truly highlights the various textures and wonderful details found in this building.

The Stade in Hastings Old Town has been used for beaching boats for more than a thousand years. It is now home to Europe's largest fleet of beach-launched fishing boats.
The word 'stade' is a Saxon term meaning landing place.

London constantly delights & surprises me; it is very modern city on the one hand..but full of traditions and scenes from the past on the other. Sometimes i look out of a bus window onto a scene that seems it could be from a different era completely.
Stainless steel shines in the late summer evening light as a pair of EMD E-units and matched passenger cars faced the western sun.
This could have been 1964 but it was actually 2014.
A pair of Iowa Pacific E8s and its matched consist were arriving in Edgerton on the Wisconsin and Southern with an excursion from Chicago. It was a small window in time where old school met the new world.
I'm glad that I was there.
