al dividir los sueños en parcelas;
y quisiera retarla frente a frente.

"In the face of all the present turmoil and unrest and unhappiness...what can a photographer, a writer, a curator do?...To make people aware of eternal things, to show the relationship of man to nature, to make clear the importance of our heritage, is a task that no one should consider insignificant...These are the days when eloquent statements are needed." - Letter from Beaumont Newhall to Ansel Adams in 1954

I returned to our old home, day was gloomy just like my thoughts, memories that were too heavy to carry seemed to have found their way out. It seemed like the clouds will open to rain any moment, air felt heavy and when those metal gates opened before me I felt the first drop. Soon enough the air was soaking in the rain shower, washing away the heavy air and thoughts.
Garden seemed empty now, flowers and grass has found its way through pavement, covering where once our home was. Remember the small well in middle of our garden? Now lemon trees grow around it, seems they like the area, just beneath those high cliffs that sit around the old home.
It’s a shame you didn’t come with me, to see this timeless place once more, even without the life there is life still…

OPEN it to see how special? With film, sometimes you would have abberations if used in more challenging circumstances, here it worked and created a very special effect....
No matter how many sunsets... each one different and fresh and rich and more spectacular than the previous one, a miracle to my eyes each time.
Dusk is probably my favourite time, to reflect back on the day and look forward to the evening , the next day, the next sunset...and such, life passes...
Nature at its best.
This is again taken from the terrace of the penthouse we used to live in,Ostend, on the one side overlooking the sea, the other the town.
Even after a full day’s work I would very much relax with a glass of Chardonnay and my camera, looking at the sea-traffic and ultimately the sunset. This is one of them. Different? I'll let you be the judge of that.

Not totally timeless, but this old black and white holiday snap could have been taken any time over the last 35 years, with the Porsche 964 dating back to 1989 and the Mercedes Benz 190 SL as far back as 1955. Even though the Porsche is from 1989, the basic shape dates right back to the 901 model from 1963.
