As I wandered about the Civil War encampment, I searched out people that actually looked like they had come from another era. There were many people in period uniform and attire. But every now and again I would encounter someone who really pulled it off, someone who looked like a time traveller. These faces jumped right out at me, even from great distances. I'm sure none of these people recognized that they possessed the look, or even why I had singled them out. I would offer a brief explanation. But trying to sum up one's passion for a particular subject in a couple of quick sentences generally falls short. I think more often than not my explanations sounded more like incoherent babbling. One thing I have learned in photography is that when I see something, the goal is to capture it while I'm in the moment. Everything else can wait. Anyway these became the basis for some very convincing portraits.

Now rRabbit just needs to ship my order so that I can see if he gets a new wig too or not :B

A Impressive view of Art Projecting Images seen on the Walls of Beverley Minster ...In East Yorkshire ..
The remains of Purissima Cemetery lie abandoned, lost in time, four miles south of Half Moon Bay, California. Across the road from the cemetery the former village of Purissima was one of the earliest settlements on the San Mateo County coast. The town was largely abandoned before World War II and, today, nothing remains other than the memories and a foundation of the schoolhouse that was built here. In 1868, John Purcell deeded some of his property to Purissima as a burial ground. Difficult to locate, the cemetery is now largely overgrown with weeds, vines and poison oak. Many of the gravestones are missing or broken.......time and nature will ultimately erase all that remains here.

It is so nice out today so I decided to go outside with my dog to take photos and then decided to bring Marilyn along ^___^
