Another photograph from my trip to NYC for Flickr20under20. After spending our time in the MoMA, admiring the works of extraordinary artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and Matisse (just to name a couple), Madeline and I decided we'd use the last moments of daylight to dance in the streets of New York and take pictures. It's something I've always wanted to do and it'll be a memory I'll treasure forever. I ended up snapping this picture of Madeline while we were waiting to cross the road.
This week has been quite tough, as my family and I sadly had to say goodbye to our dog Max. We've now lost both Cinta and Max this year, which has left our family incomplete. I miss them very dearly and think of them everyday <3
I'll be sharing photographs from my NYC trip as well as other photographs over the next month or so. If you head on over to my blog, you'll be able to see photographs from the most recent wedding I shot. I hope you've all been well.

This image is one of a series of five or six photographs, and both images in each diptych were all taken within half an hour of each other, the only difference being the length of exposure time.
The cool evening air carries the scent of pine and water as the lake reflects the fiery hues of the setting sun. Gentle ripples lap against the shore, and distant peaks glow in amber light. You cast your line, the quiet splash blending with the soft calls of birds settling for the night. A peaceful stillness surrounds you—serene, yet alive. The world feels vast yet intimate, time slows, and for a moment, everything is simply perfect. This is fishing at its finest.
It is time for reflection....(and archived shots!) It has been an amazing year with the birth of my son and now i look forward with wide eyes to what '09 will bring. Happy New Year to everyone and thank you so much for all of your feedback.
Sunrise over the Key River taken from the Diamond Key Resort just off of Georgian Bay. Britt, Ontario - Canada.
I rarely take photos with shutter speeds greater than a second. In water motion a shutter speed of a half a second is usually ideal for getting the texture in the water I desire. However some 6 years ago I would often take a image of 30 seconds or more, occasionally to achieve a misty sea more often though it was to create a dynamic sky. Today’s photo is an example of this taken in December 2017. How often do you reach for the ND64, ND100 filters?

Photographed through a window pane in a decoration shop, in which an old-style street lamp is reflected.
Me: "I Didn't Have Time To Go Jogging This Morning."
Rhama: "Bear, You Say That Every Day."
Me: "I Know. It's A Running Joke...Arr arr...ahem."
Rhama: *Sigh* "Tell Me Again, Why I Date You?"
A number of common zebras are seen here in line making their way home in some lovely evening light after a day out in the savannah. Alas I can't identify the wonderful tree they are passing.
My Interplanetary Memories
Planet Dokeia
Interplanetary Travel
Could the progress of time be unstoppable? Could the perception of time be changed? Is it possible to go out of time? There was no time in the vacuum of space. But there was an advancing time period for me on planet Earth. It was a progression that brought me closer to the end. As we approached our end, our experiences turned into memories. Our friends and all our relatives started to disappear one by one in this notion of time. The cities we lived in began to change and the faces we knew began to become alienated. The concept of loneliness had taken over us more and more as time progressed. What, then, did the concept of what we call time mean? Change? lost? Loneliness? Which was the word that would describe time better.

For Macro Monday - Party
Macro Mondays turns 17 this week.
With very little time a couple of popped party poppers on a happy birthday candle.
Width of the candle is 68 mm
Happy Macro Monday!
My time in Illinois is already up, and since I probably will not be back any time soon, I wanted to milk the Milwaukee MACs for all I could. Having had a few nice afternoons on the MD-N line a couple of weeks ago, I decided to spend a couple of afternoon rushes on the MD-W line in Elgin on CPKC's Elgin Sub. Neither afternoon disappointed with plenty of MACs to be had. Here the newest on the property gets back up to speed and heads for Big Timber with train 2225.

There were only two Royal Spoonbills in the Pauatahanui marshes on this particular day - and they were both fast asleep...!
The warm gentle breeze was just enough to ruffle the birds' breeding feathers, but neither bird seemed very worried...!
Thanks so much for the very kind and encouraging comments beneath this photo...! Your support is very greatly appreciated.
Taking a vacation from my vacation pictures. I went for a walk out at Rush Ranch. There is always something to see out there. :-)
If an angel comes down
And takes me away
The memories of me
And my songs
Will always stay
Till they can find
(until the end of time)
Until the end of time
Till the end of time
Two great bronze figures, hinged at the waist, which strike the hours on a bell. One is old and the other young, to show the passing of time at St. Mark's Clocktower.
Well, that's me finished editing this amazing session I had in these woods. Cannot wait to go back again especially in Autumn when the colours will be pretty spectacular!
What appears to be mist is in fact low cloud, as these woods are quite high up on a hill (my lungs can attest to that lol).
Beech trees do amaze me in how they grow so very differently to each other. Some areas I go to they are all tall and straight, other places they are all squat and gnarly. I guess they are like us and all individuals in their own ways.
I hope you enjoy this series I will be posting in the next week or so, let me know when you get bored of them lol.
