Goblin Valley State Park offers one of the world's most pristine and awe-inspiring night sky adventures. Designated an International Dark Sky Park in 2016, it boasts exceptionally dark skies with virtually no light pollution. It's the darkest sky I've been lucky enough to experience

From last Spring, when my buddy Alex saw the dramatic sky and the opportunity for some cool pictures and he just gave me the signal by his call.

I didn't have any filters along, so my only alternative was to stop down the lens.

A juvenile Bald Eagle takes a break while hunting over the Gannet colony at Cape St Mary's. When we arrived at the Cape, 4 eagles were soaring over the colony. Apparently they take any chicks that are left abandoned by the parents.

After waiting for this trip for more than half a year, we lost track of time and I almost missed the sunset on the only night I was spending here. Luckily traffic was light and the elements for this photo presented themselves and I was able to get this shot. There wasn't much time to figure out the best spot but in the end I'm pretty happy with this one. Maybe some day I will revisit, but for the moment this will do.

This picture will look best viewed on a big screen!

In November I went to Chur, Switzerland. The town has a beautiful medieval center. This is the Arcas square, or more accurately, triangle, nowadays used for concerts and other events. In this season it has a beautiful Christmas look.

I processed a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures I took manually. After that I added some vignetting and played with color balance a bit to give it a mystic and old look.
