[17:36] Taladis Tower wrinkled his nose as he came down from the small ramp. Reaching up the dark cat pulled the cigar from his mouth - tossed it to the floor and proceeded to step on it. He walked forward and leaned on the railing that led to the beach, looking over at the Cyborg Zero.
[17:39] Damienn Kiranov is blatantly amused when he sees the black cat walk up to the railing. He takes a drink from his flask, then puts it back in his pocket. A wry smirk crosses his lips as he speaks. "Well well well. Look what we have here. Sure as hell took you long enough. Surprised?"
[17:41] Taladis Tower grumbled in response to the man's comment. Instead, he moved down the sidewalk - as he walked he was unwrapping the gauntlets around his wrists. He tossed them on the ground as he continued to walk, only leaving the wrappings on his hands. Closing his fists, he just looked at Kiranov with that cold expression.
[17:43] Damienn Kiranov yawns. "Oh God. Now we go to this again... What are you gonna do now? Hmm? Seems kinda pointless to start a brawl when we don't have an audience."
[17:44] Taladis Tower wrinkled his nose at Kiranov's comment before practically growling out, "This isn't about people watching." His ears falling against his head, "You were supposed to be dead."
[17:45] Damienn Kiranov laughs and shakes his head. "You've got to be kidding me... Do you really think they would've left out any explosives training when I worked as an operator?"
[17:47] Taladis Tower grumbled lowly, "I don't care. I walked away because I expected you to be dead. You shot me, you left me for dead. I left /you/ for dead, you were just supposed to die. Now - we're somewhat at a crossroads, aren't we?"
[17:49] Damienn Kiranov pops his knuckles and takes his flask out of his pocket. "I guess we would be. So, what's your choice? I could care less about continuing this boring rivalry, since you're not the one I was looking for." He takes a drink from his flask, then pockets it.
[17:50] Taladis Tower watches Kiranov's movements carefully. Tal's cold gaze soon locking on the man's face once more. He wrinkled his nose, a grumble escaping his lips, "Next time that I see you? This won't be 'boring.'" Tal growled as he turned away, then knelt over to pick up his gauntlets before wandering off.
The Wawona Covered Bridge, crossing the waters of the south fork of the Merced river, in Yosemite National Park. Yes, I had to get wet to get this shot. But it was a hot day in late spring, and therefore welcome.
"The bridge was built by Galen Clark, the steward of what was then called the Yosemite Grant, in 1868, without its cladding. The bridge was a major component of Clark's proposed new road from Wawona to the Yosemite Valley. Clark was unable to complete the road, which he sold to the Washburn Group of investors along with the Wawona Hotel. The Washburn Group completed the road to the Yosemite Valley in 1879. It is one of twelve remaining covered bridges in California. The modified queen post truss was covered with Douglas fir cladding in 1878, enclosing the Ponderosa pine structure and its iron tie rods. The bridge served automobile traffic until 1937, when a new bridge was built about 200 metres (660 ft) to the southwest. The bridge was repaired by Civilian Conservation Corps labor the same year. In 1955 the bridge was damaged by flooding. Marked for replacement on account of the damage and its poor general condition, the bridge was instead reconstructed after National Park Service landscape architect Thomas Chalmers Vint intervened in its favor. Work was funded as part of the Park Service's Mission 66 program, using the bridge as the centerpiece of an interpretive exhibit on the history of the Wawona area. The Pioneer Yosemite History Center was established nearby. The bridge was repaired, with damaged elements replaced in kind. Since 1957 the bridge has had a number of repairs and replacements as materials have deteriorated." [Wikipedia]

I was attracted by excited chirping of birds in the trees and I noted this Rainbow Lorikeet ( Trichoglossus Molacannus ) is waiting for its turn to jump into this " natural bird bath " in a tree hole.
As soon as those who had their bath flew off. More Lorikeets arrived and take turn to jump into the bath. Taken at the Adelaide Botanical Gardens.

When I Was A Tourist In Thailand, I Took A Bus Trip And Was Seated Next To The Most Gorgeous Girl I'd Ever Laid Eyes On. Perfect Boobs Almost Spilling Out Of Her Top, Perfect Legs, With A Gorgeous Face. The Bus Had Small Seats And She Was Pushed Right Up Next To Me. I Kept Thinking To Myself, "Don't Get An Erection, Don't Get An Erection"...But She Did.

Yep… Bon Bon actually got a time out today. After she jumped on my chair and knocked my Olympus mirrorless onto the floor. The camera is fine, I think, but she got put on the other side of my French door until I was finished with my shoot. This was taken after I opened the door and let her resume her catfulness. Maybe the flowers were especially intoxicating for her (lilacs and lilies of the valley). I know they drive me crazy.

Cyndi Lauper - Time after time
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hb3Sx1Z-7rk
Lying in my bed, I hear the clock tick and think of you
Caught up in circles
Confusion is nothing new
Flashback, warm nights
Almost left behind
Suitcase of memories
Time after
Sometimes you picture me
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me, I can't hear
What you've said
Then you say, "go slow"
And I fall behind
The second hand unwinds
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time
If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I will be waiting
Time after time
After my picture fades and darkness has
Turned to gray
Watching through windows
You're wondering if I'm okay
Secrets stolen from deep inside (deep inside)
And the drum beats out of time
If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you, I'll be waiting
Time after time
If you're lost, you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you, I will be waiting
Time after time
Time after time
I've got a suitcase of memories that I almost left behind
Time after time
Time, time, time
But you say to go slow but I fall behind
Time after time after time (after time, oh)

Alter Ego: Man-Mech
Name: Maelstrom Lancaster
Allegiance: Villain
Powers: None
Weapons:
* Customised Mech that allows him:
* Super strength, Durability and Limitless Stamina
* Bulletproof armour
* Immunity to cold temperatures
* Low altitude flight
* Invulnerability against electricity and EMPs
Key Weakness: He's vulnerable against large bodies of water which causes him to be slow.
Origin:
When Maelstrom was on his way home from work he witnessed a villain getting brutally beaten down by the hero, Cosmic Comet, for a standard petty crime. This traumatised Maelstrom for years and from then on had a different outlook on Heroes seeing them as abusers and Villains as the victims. During this time he engineered a robotic suit that could help him on his mission to protect villains from being beaten mercilessly by heroes. Once it was completed he started to use it to protect villains in need by defending them and telling the intercepting hero(heroes) to use their words instead of violence, despite the villain causing them and others harm.

It only lasts a minute or so... but it's a minute full of bliss before darkness embraces the earth again in its neverending cycle of the eons
L'attimo
Dura solo un minuto o poco più... ma è un minuto pieno di meraviglia, prima che la notte abbracci la terra ancora una volta nel suo ciclo eterno degli eoni
No 1-A Folding Pocket Kodak Special - Model D (1910)
The Sony α6000 (model ILCE-6000) is a digital camera announced 12 February 2014. It is a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, which has a smaller body form factor than a traditional DSLR while retaining the sensor size and features of an APS-C-sized model.
26/11/2016; I was actually finished photographing in the afternoon, but I still had some time to kill before I had to be on my way to a dinner with some ex-colleagues, and therefore I couldn't go too far away. Those were the ingredients to shoot what I have mindlessly walked or drove by (by tram) for hundreds of times.

Chinese New Year! In my photographs so far there hasn't been much of an indication of the time of year. Down at the waterfront you couldn't miss it.
Unfortunately, it being the New Year meant that things were shut or otherwise different from normal. Typically the famous Clock Tower at the Kowloon waterfront is lit at night. Not this time...
Another thing you're missing: Right behind us was a small crowd watching the rehearsals for the New Year Parade. I imagine it looked a bit weird; one tourist looking the opposite way entirely.

Hong Kong! Again! After the first time not working out so well (mostly due to my condition) me and my best friend Michael returned to do the bits we missed out on and generally have a few different experiences than before.

Obviously from a previous summer.
Prospects for macro work THIS summer are greatly diminished I fear. The two gardens where I do most of my insect / flower photography are both out of commission; thank you covid. The historic mansion grounds, originally set to re-open June 1, remain closed and padlocked, with the resurgence of the little virii. Future uncertain.
The city gardens...not fenced or gated, just stand untended. Untilled plots, browning dead weeds...sad. And the word I was given was that no summer workers are going to be hired this year AND volunteers wouldn't be used either. That left a three person crew...and that crew is just too small for this large area.
All of this is subject to change at some point, but for now, my go to macro sites are DON'T GO TO.
