The Three Towers belongs to historic monuments in Luxembourg-City. The square central tower dates from the time of the second fortification ring (probably around 1200) while two circular flanking towers were added in the 14th century.

Three of my Soo favorites, GP30 701, U30C 808 and F7 212-B lead an eastbound just south of Lake Villa in April 1979. This train is a run through to the ICG at Markham.

Sunset light over the cliffs that give the beautiful Three Cliffs Bay its name.

We recently spent a few nights at the Three Choirs Vineyard in Herefordshire.

We stayed here over the weekend of the worst storm England has seen in 60 years. Luckily the storm passed us by without harm and the next morning gave rise to the strongest sunrise I have seen for a while.

At the centre of the main hall of the Temple of the Three Saints (San Sheng Gong, 三聖宮) at Nirvana Memorial Gardens are Buddha (Amitābha) with two bodhisattvas, Shih Chih / Mahāsthāmaprāpta (on the left) and Guan Yin / Avalokiteśvara (on the right).

Thank you for your comments and Fav's.

Three down pipes on the outside of a commercial property. Actually, there were four pipes - but three were of course more photogenic ...

Three surfers going out around sunset

Three Brothers beach at Alvor. I was taken by the sweep of the water, the clouds on a stormy day, and the vanishing point out between the rocks. So, I thought I'd take a shot and share it with you :-)

Thank you to all my flickr friends for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated.

Three Amtrak P42's in Erving, MA sure were a sight on a misty morning in August, 2014. As evidenced by the white flags, this was an "Extra" movement for the American Association of Private Railcar Owners as they were en route to Portland, Maine. This was really cool to see, and I am very glad I got up to see it.

Three terminals of a busted run capacitor (used in air conditioner).

Shot with an old Nikon Series E 50mm lens, reverse mounted, on Nikon D7200.

The surface on which these terminals are on is 2 inches in diameter. The terminals are no higher than 1/2 inch.

An inexpensive speedlight-clone, camera-left, with blue gel, was used to light this subject. At 1/16 power, about 6 inches from the subject, and pointing at the subject, it was triggered by camera's built-in flash in commander mode. Another speedlight-clone, camera-right, with red-gel, at 1/4 power, in optical-slave mode and about 6 inches from the subject, was triggered by the other speedlight (camera-left). The third speedlight-clone, at /128 power and also in optical slave mode, less than 6 inches above the subject and pointing at the subject was triggered by one of the other two flashes. Light from the flashes was not diffused.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest. ~Confucius
