With the fog laying thick over the fields, this barn, the rotting fence, and the other weathered structures appeared a little like a ghost ship silently drifting into sight. If not for the three horses standing together, one could hardly be faulted for wondering if it was all just a shadow in the mist.
This view from the Three Ridges Mountain Overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway showed a variety of fall colors. This was facing eastward into Nelson County, Virginia, in late October.
Refresh single use eyedrops - about 1 inch in height.
Photographed in front of a light box, while turned on their sides to get the different fluid bubbles. Rotated 90 degrees in post to enhance the resemblance to bottles, with Topaz filters to enhance contrast, detail, and color. I was amazed at how jagged the edges were under the macro lens - they look smooth to the naked eye!

I got quite the surprise today, 4 king parrots showed up Big Boy and his partner and Our friendly one Mr K and his partner. In this photo you can only see three, just before I took this shot one of the females flew onto the fence!
This little rover is inspired by the engines on the Avatar Mako Submarine, three of which are used as the wheels.
This is actually one of my most challenging builds, as it was very hard to connect everything the way I wanted it to without it falling apart. 😅 It’s VERY hard to move!
Nevertheless, I still love it and I am proud that I was able to make it work!
I hope you enjoy!
Three gorgeous dresses from my shopping outing, each with its own special attraction. The black halterneck in the centre was the most glamorous, however it has a huge number of buttons, zips, hooks, bows, etc. to hold it in place and took ages to put on.

It's just another morning catching the Transfer at the east end of BNSF's Northtown Yard. Here the WC transfer pulls out of the T-Yard to double up their outbound train in July 2001 right on schedule, making it an easy catch just about every morning. You can see the car with a WC employee pulling up to help with the joint as the BNSF carmen unlocks the track for the general freight that will go behind the stacks.
This was three months before the CN takeover and the power proves Steve G's theory of how railroads look their best right before they get gobbled up.
Three bracelets I have, one of which I have had for many, many years and two I just acquired in the past few months.

This is one of three relief panels from a now lost triumpahl arch of Marcus Aurelius in Rome. Along with the other two, it is housed in the Palazzo dei Conservatori of the Capitoline Museums. It depicts the emperor Marcus Aurelius (161-180) with his head veiled and holding a patera, in the act of offering a libation. An ox in the background will follow as an offering. The structure in the back has been identified as the famous temple to Jupiter Capitolinus -- just a few steps from the modern museum -- where triumphal processions traditionally ended.. It is perhaps the only known depiction of the temple. The arch was erected to celebrate the emperor's victory over the Sarmatians and Germans in 176.
