This set of images featuring three of my favourite models were commissioned as a beauty and style shoot to promote the social media launch of an Urban Decay Cosmetics counter within the John Lewis department store in Cardiff. I researched into the sort of angst, tribal attitude ridden imagery associated with the brand, and felt that I wanted to do something a little more different. My focus had been entirely on how these women felt after the stunning makeovers, rather than just the quality of the makeovers.
Bjørn Magne and Merete had been to the Three Floyds Brewing Company brewpub in Munster, Indiana, a month before I went on my own American beer odyssey and they had recommended a stop there (which I did). They also brought some good beers with them back to Norway, such as this one - the Three Floyds Dreadnaught, a 9,5% abv imperial IPA.
It has such a smooth flavor of well balanced hops, not the common hops explosion one usually finds in other double IPAs, and nice sweetness that lingers for a long time in the mouth. A really, really good double IPA!
The ‘Kif Jghid Il-Malti’ project is the work of Maltese artists Joel Saliba and Margaret Pace from Ikona Artworks, assisted by Sara-Lee Zammit, Chris Galea and Perry Scenic Ltd.
Saliba said the statues are intended to be thought provoking and to encourage people to reflect on the Maltese language. They were launched February 2018 by Valletta 2018 chairperson Jason Micallef and parliamentary secretary for Valletta 2018 Deo Debattista.

These three lighthouses were known as the Three Sisters of Nauset. They were built in 1892. They were located in Eastham, Massachusetts, USA. They were restored in 1989 and moved to their present site. Two of the sisters are missing their lights. All three are no longer in service.

I spent a Sunday working somewhere near Canary Wharf a few weeks ago. These three old cranes reflected in one of the water ways caught my eye.
In this view are three bridges over Lyell Creek. the footbridge and road bridge at same level as the Coastal Pacific from Christchurch to Picton arrives in Kaikoura

These little birds were sleeping in the tree right outside where i work on Ali'i drive!!! we guessed that it was the mommy and the daddy and the baby chick in the middle... sooooo cute!
Frankie and the new guy have three green eyes between them and also a passion for sunglasses. They're awfully cute together. I have some other ghouls coming in that I thought he might be interested in but it seems he's fallen for Frankie!
