A substantial three bean soup with chicory and Staffordshire oatcakes.
The metal spoon was completely superfluous, the chicory leaves were used as edible spoons, then the rest was mopped up with the oatcakes.
This was by way of an experiment to see whether I could cut out furry things...not sure about the result.
Here is Hetty, who was13 at the time, with two of her three underlings, Fritz and Buster.

One of the pubs D9 and I visited in Fazeley during our December 2014 Tamworth Tour was the Three Horse Shoes - it was probably our favourite too, a properly traditional setting for a pint of Pedigree. This shot shows the pub's picture sign complete with a mention for Mitchells & Butlers.

In the last three or four weeks I have found all this stuff at either Goodwill, (Little Miss Revlon, Bubble cut Barbe, and Midge for $1 each!), or Salvation Army, (cool 78 records for 49 cents each,Miss Ginger for $2.99, and the Mattel Modern Furniture for $4.99.) Miss Ginger was only wearing one shoe, until her other one turned up in the middle drawer of the odd piece of furniture that was in the bag with the Modern Furniture. Week three - Nearly all 150+ buds are opening but, until today, they haven't had a lot of water.
The Acer is looking good as are the ferns but why they've chosen to grow up through the Acer instead of where I planted them is a mystery.
