These three were racing two little ones on the other side of the fence. They spent some time running up and down the hill. They seemed to be having great fun
I captured this group of three Canadian Geese as they flew past me at Huntley Meadows Park in Virginia. Although there's nothing special about flying geese, I was attracted to this photo because of the interesting soft colors of the trees behind them that are just leafing out and how they provide the interesting bokeh colors in the photo.
Seagulls wading in the waves of Lake Michigan. The rest of the flock flew off as I approached, but not these three.

This is a photo of three water drops on a CD. The drops are backlit by my laptop screen which is displaying a radial gradient that was created in photoshop.

The Three Sunrises
U2
Spirit of the rising sun lift me up
Hold me there and never let me fall
Love me 'til I die, my heart won't wait
Soon I will be loved...
In this love song, love
Love song, love song
Hey, hey, love won't find
Find its own way home
In this love song, love
Love, love song
Sun shine, sun shine on me
Sun shine, sun shine on me
Went up the mountains this morning to shoot a jetty.
Came home with this.
Funny how things work out…
Hope you like “The Three Sunrises”
Cheers, Mike
This is about a third of the pack that I almost ran over the night before I took this picture. After determining where the den is, I came back the next evening in better light and spent an hour with a pack of wolves. Didn't see the parents, but I'm sure they were watching me.

A foggy morning in Purcellville, VA

Three vintage EMD's (plus one dead in tow) power Columbia Basin's climb up the hill from Connell, wrapping around this tight S-curve just before the grade begins to level out. These SD9's (and one SD19) aren't the only relics in the photo, as the remnant of a lone telegraph pole can be seen on the right. The terrain in this part of Washington felt almost alien compared to the western half of the state where we spent most of our trip.

These windmills are on the water so I don't believe they were for pumping; more likely for grinding grain.

Only minutes after sunrise, 167 and 463 run over Hangmans Trestle as part of a photo charter tour.
For the tour, 489 was redecaled into Rio Grande speed lettering and hauled a vintage freight from Chama, NM to Osier CO, and return on Saturday. While on Sunday, the 1880s era 168, relettered to 167, paired with 463 (both lettered DRGW) ran a recreated freight double headed, from Antonito CO to Osier and return.

"Three Sisters Ruins:" The view from this alcove in Sedona, which houses a set of ruins tucked under its shallow end, is not the easiest to reach, but is amazing looking out in all directions. Its namesake rock structure loosely appearing as 3 figures close together stands tall just outside of the curved walls.
