It's only been six weeks since I started exploring the world of E-cigs. In that time I've managed to acquire quite a bit in the way of liquids, flavours and other bits and pieces.
On the AussieVapers forum, a thread has been started about posting pictures of your gear. Since it coincided with 12 0f 12 day, I thought I'd go ahead and show my stuff. The bottles and boxes all fit in the bottom shelves of the sideboard. Stuff in the drawer includes E-cig parts such as Ego-T tanks and various cartomiser caps.
When I was taking out the garbage this afternoon, I noticed a BIG bag filled with thread next to the chute! Of course I had to take it with me! It was full of thread. Well over 100 spools. Mostly Coats & Clarks, and mostly on plastic spools so it can't be too old. I usually buy Gutterman, but I'm not about to turn away free thread!

A fine cord of cotton or other fibrous material is spun out to a considerable length, especially when it is composed of two or more fibers twisted together.
This is an iron casting in which several badly corroded threaded studs had snapped off. The embedded remains of the studs have been removed and the original threads are seen being re-cut and cleaned up prior to the casting (part of a 1930s street light), being sand-blasted. New studs are being manufactured, so that the restoration of this relic can be completed
At an auction I found a big bag full of colour coordinated sewing threads. Of course, I had to get them because of the wonderful colour combos!

My own hand dyed thread. This is a size 50 6 cord thread with a very firm twist, excellent for tatting. I used Procion MX dyes.
It's a featherless Sunday again.
A beautiful non-stinging wasp, this Thread-waisted Wasp is about a half-inch long and flies about any flower it can feed on and even inspects the dead flowers. I'm not sure if this wasp feeds on other smaller insects.

This shot from a shop. Once they said they don't like to camera inside the shop. After one month, I went there as a new guy and took good shots. I was in a hurry and 50% unfocused. Anyway I like a lot of stuff there.
I always get excited when I create a new design for my handmade journals. This one combines my love of colorful papers and thread with my love of technical stitching patterns - here I've used a special stitch called French Link Stitch.
This little handmade book lays completely flat when it's opened, thanks to the detailed crossover of the french link stitch, which I've sewn here in an ombre pattern from red to yellow. French link is traditionally used on hand bound books with full covers, so you usually can't see it, but it's so neat looking that it's a shame to cover it up! I did the sewing in three colors of waxed Irish linen thread.
The book is about 4.25"x5.5" and has 240 pages of lovely white writing paper inside.

I was unpacking my sewing stuffs and was inspired by Julie to snap a photo of my threads, although not nearly as exciting as the House of Pinku collection! I keep Blue/Purple/Green in the first, Red/Orange/Yellow in the second and White/Black/Brown in the third.
