This embroidery thread belonged to my grandmother. It was passed on to my father, and then to me. I'm looking forward to making some great embroidery with it.

I love it when the thread is 50% off at JoAnn's. That's the only time I buy thread now. Then I buy a handful and revel in all the different colors. I love you, colorful thread.
It looks like something kind of futuristic -- and scary -- but it's actually just the casing for the bobbin of my new (yet old) sewing machine. It was also the source of much frustration the first time I tried to use it.

CN Tower at Bay/Lakeshore. Saw this wicked contrail, and had to hurry to get my camera out. Unfortunately, I had no tripod and the picture is slightly blurry because I literally had to whip my camera out and shoot to get the plane in the frame.
