Once we had the shot we needed for Josh we went ahead and used him as a model for a couple concept shots. Here's a pose he gave me which i liked and directed the lighting around to set the mood. Added a strong vignette in post.
I think this little birdy got a bit too close to the jaws an aligator. She's lucky all she lost was a foot. Yet, with pirate like determination she'd fly down to steel pieces of food from the alligator pen. She's either a very brave or a very stupid Boat-tailed Grackle...maybe both!
Sedos presents Ophelia Thinks Harder, a riotous reworking of Hamlet (where Ophelia gets all the best lines), by Jean Betts and William Shakespeare.
BRIDEWELL THEATRE | 28 September-2 October 2021

Botanical Illustrations have always fascinated me--such attention to details! Finally, I have attempted a botanical illustration; something I have always wanted to try! I have a lot to learn about scientific art drawings!
The name Van Houtte fascinated me, as it is similar to mine! I read that he hired the best lithographers of the era to create color illustrations of the flowers in his gardens. He published a book from 1845 - 1883, as listed in my middle picture.
The screen at York Minster features the first series of monarchs of England starting with William the Conquerer.
Many of the statues hold swords and their gaze is lifted towards the heavens in victory. This chap however looks towards us minions and he appears to be deep in thought rather than battle.
This Shot was used as the endboard in my video of the day which I've included below, have a nosey if you like:

I think probably the building was not painted intentionally to resemble a partly cloudy daytime sky with high diffuse clouds? It just faded unevenly to that condition, right?
