"THINK" is a slogan first used by Thomas J. Watson in December, 1911, while managing the sales and advertising departments at the National Cash Register. After C-T-R became IBM in 1924, THINK became an ever present reminder of the ideas that held the company together.

At Scott Gomer Falls near Guanella Pass. I have expected for twenty years that this entire slope would give way, but so far it is just a few cubic yards at a time. I still think a large thunderstorm could bring it down.

This is the terminal moraine of the glacier upstream from here.

My Aha moment was when Don explained to look at all the angles. That all the angles need to reflect. To take one angle and get it to reflect.. then move to the next angle..until all the angles are reflecting. So..Working in total darkness with one light and adding fill cards helped to show the shape of the thinker. It was like adding pieces to a puzzle.. only this puzzle was brought to life with reflections from one small florescent daylight bulb. Learning that the sculptor(designers) had a reason for each angle he made and in order for me to showcase his (Rodin) work I needed to make it all stand out! So out of darkness came the Thinker... Thanks Don!

I think I heard Of Love,

that’s when there’s nothing left that you can’t feel right?,

Like when your mother slaughters you with her words and fists

and your father abandons you at a time you desperately need him the most,

and yet you sit there and bare this undying agony this so called Love,

and you torture your body with alcohol and drugs to numb away that sinking feeling in your heart and stomach you usually get,

and you end up sleeping with every scumbag guy you meet so you can for a second feel secure and whole again

I believe I heard of Hope,

that’s when there’s nothing else that you can possibly live or is the opposite direction,

when everyone thinks you’re the enemy, and you have no real friends to talk to and every damn teacher or counselor,

you have wants to make your situation worse by talking to you psychotic mother about your so called problems giving you Hope.

That’s when loneliness takes a stride in your back seat,

and your mind spirals out of control and you stare out,

inflicting pain upon pain on yourself because you can’t stand the fantasy of this time consuming reality.

And as far as a Better tomorrow,

that’s Just a dream, something stupid made up for you to think that your life will or can change,

that your mother will Love you unconditionally,

not laying one single finger on you,

or that Hope you have just knowing that your dad is your hero that he won’t be able to leave,

and suddenly you find yourself indulged in peace and prosperity
