I think I am the happiest in the spring for many reasons: school's almost out, I am starting up golf, and, most importantly, there is new life everywhere. I enjoy winter, but when spring hits almost every one of my senses is used again. You can hear the birds again and smell the fresh air that seems to surround you. You can also feel the touch of an annoying ant crawling up your leg, but I don't mind as much. And finally, you can watch as everything around you gradually turns green. Design: Think. Know. Do. is a one-week intensive design camp at Ohio Northern University. The camp is being offered through the Summer Honors Institute program for gifted high school students who are entering their sophomore, junior or senior years in the 2010–2011 academic year.

This year’s Design Camp embarks on an exciting journey to explore the fundamentals of visual communication. Working in teams, students investigate how ideas of sustainability can be applied to a community’s interactions, its economics and its physical environment. Student teams use a variety of design methodologies and skills to find answers to how design can improve the experience of a recycling plan on campus.

Earlier this month a friend asked me to shoot an event centered around breast cancer awareness. Her group would be at the event seeking signatures to take action regarding breast cancer rather than just making people aware. The organization is bcaction.org. This organization does not take funding from corporations and are a grass roots orgazination to make people aware of the toxins that are approved by the FDA and we use every day. We need to move toward getting rid of these toxins and searching for a cure.

Once we had the shot we needed for Josh we went ahead and used him as a model for a couple concept shots. Here's a pose he gave me which i liked and directed the lighting around to set the mood. Added a strong vignette in post.

Sedos presents Ophelia Thinks Harder, a riotous reworking of Hamlet (where Ophelia gets all the best lines), by Jean Betts and William Shakespeare.

BRIDEWELL THEATRE | 28 September-2 October 2021

Ophelia Thinks Harder is a heightened, confused and darkly-funny world, where Shakespeare meets feminism. And this time Ophelia gets all the best lines.

Traditions teach.

Here, the youngest are being taught by those two generations older.

Games are the mechanism, the dining table is the location, and the prime motivator to learn is the pride of winning. Just a thinking game called Cranium, but the interactions make for a fertile training ground for minds eager to learn and show how much they know.

This scene is usually repeated at each family gathering. After the feast is over, the games come out and the competition is fun but fierce. I was roaming about, with my camera in hand, and saw this image unfolding before me. How could I not grab an image for the family album?

Can't you just see the fun?

I think this is one of the leaf veined native slugs, possibly (and I have 0 skills in this area, so just as likely to be wrong, Athoracophorus bitentaculatus. It does look similar to the link. They don't eat the leaves but the organisms that live on the leaves. I spotted the end of the tail between the leaves.
