I really enjoy making this style bracelet.
This One-Of-A-Kind bracelet is similar to my original OOAK Lilly Pads bracelet, with the color suggested by an online friend. I think the pink looks awsome!
It's aprox 7-1/2" around.
Designed and handmade by myself, in Sterling Silver Wire, with Pink Fiber Optic Beads (Catseye) Beads.
Rosie thinks she's a scary ghost, but she might be a little too cute for that!

This doll was done for Breast Cancer Awareness.
She was flocked, given a full face repaint using artistic acrylics and sealers.
Her outfit is a jean outfit with rhinestone accents.
She is wearing the pink ribbon of support.
Her jewelry is made of sterling silver.

A lot of my teenage memories involve hanging out with this guy and playing in bands in smelly bars all round the country, having a laugh and being young and stupid...
...carefree days...
It would have been good to have had the opportunity to meet up as crinkly old blokes and have a beer and a bit of an old reminisce about those formative years...

I think this tractor was being rescued after being stranded on the beach, and submerged by the tide. It had no power, and was pulled from the beach by a Foden Heavy Rescue Truck. I felt very sorry for these men. They do such a great job of work, and save many lives. I hope they weren't beating themselves up about this. Thank you Lifeboatmen, for all the great work you do.

Sometimes I think John is my male equivalent here on Flickr. He is crazy (like me), funny (me too!), highly intelligent (well, we both have high iq's) and, of course, gorgeous as hell (what do you mean, arrogant?).
In all seriousness, John is a really good friend, one you can laugh and cry with. I thought he deserved to look more glamorous. So I turned him into the Superstar that he is (view the original here).

I think I once read that this was the old public library in Canterbury, but I can find little information about this neglected building now. The bottom floor is still used (?) - partially by Canterbury Christ Church University - and planning permission was applied for in 2006 to convert the top five floors. Here's an excerpt from the Council file:
"Newingate House is a five-storey office block and one of the most prominent of the late 1960’s/early 1970’s buildings that face St George’s Gate and the City walls. Fronting Lower Bridge Street it returns along Ivy Lane. Along with other flat roofed buildings in this location it does little to enhance the setting of the City."
Shoes, hats, and dresses -- all with some pink in them (and most of them reflected) -- at the Think Pink exhibit at the MFA. It "explores the history and changing meanings of the color as its popularity ebbed and flowed in fashion and visual culture from the 18th century to the present day."
