So You Think You Can Dance Tour | Target Center, Minneapolis, MN | October 30, 2010

I think she's my most beautiful Takara, but yet, I never photograph TJ nearly as much as Catie (or Punchi when she still had hair!). The vibrancy of her hair colour is always picked up so well by the camera too.
Anyway, it's T.A.D (Takara Appreciation Day) again, and I'm actually not working today! Yay! So TJ and I sat down to pick the outfit she was going to wear for the T.A.D photo, and this was what we came up with. She's usually all prim and proper, but today, she wanted to relax a little. ;)

Botanical Illustrations have always fascinated me--such attention to details! Finally, I have attempted a botanical illustration; something I have always wanted to try! I have a lot to learn about scientific art drawings!
The name Van Houtte fascinated me, as it is similar to mine! I read that he hired the best lithographers of the era to create color illustrations of the flowers in his gardens. He published a book from 1845 - 1883, as listed in my middle picture.
I think probably the building was not painted intentionally to resemble a partly cloudy daytime sky with high diffuse clouds? It just faded unevenly to that condition, right?

The Cornucopia of the park.
.
A very special catering facility to see is "Le Restaurant du Lac".
We think it should be named "Cornucopia" following the naming style of the park, it's indeed near to the lake but the gigantic pieces of fruit and vegetables are the most important feature and can be seen from afar. Unique in design and also very realistic up close.
The restaurant is surrounded with many tables on a large outdoor terrace permanently covered with colorful umbrellas, which gives it a summery appearance.

Cornucopia - in classical antiquity, the cornucopia, from Latin cornu and copia, also called the horn of plenty, was a symbol of abundance and nourishment, commonly a large horn-shaped container overflowing with food, flowers, or nuts.

Sedos presents Ophelia Thinks Harder, a riotous reworking of Hamlet (where Ophelia gets all the best lines), by Jean Betts and William Shakespeare.
BRIDEWELL THEATRE | 28 September-2 October 2021
Ophelia Thinks Harder is a heightened, confused and darkly-funny world, where Shakespeare meets feminism. And this time Ophelia gets all the best lines.

@sarah.jane_art sharing her story on qualification in UK and transition from one specialisation to another. Capturing the pathway from planning to urban design... The idea was to make architecture & design of the built environment accessible to everyone around the world no matter who you are and it is now a real project. The intent is to culminate a network of specialists who are available for questions, consultation and collaboration. It is a place for sharing experience, resources, tools, skills, design and innovation no matter the scale or complexity of the posed question or project.

I’m needing some Vitamin Green on this gloomy early spring day in Minnesota (where the northern part of the state is getting ice and snow again), so catching up on some previously unshared images. Another love note from Mother Nature on variegated kiwi vine.

I think I've become addicted to shooting dandelions. After seeing some very creative shots on Flickr this spring I felt inspired to try some shots myself. I have a lot of fun doing it and now I can't stop;-)
