We celebrated Lee National Denim Day at Zahn's Corner on Friday, October 3. We all donned our denim and pink-wear in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Steph and Becky (leaders of our building's initiative) provided lots of yummy pink snacks (strawberry cream cheese, bagels, M&Ms, etc.). Yay us!
This sign at Newark Airport really cheered me up after missing two precious days of vacation because of bungling of my airline, United. I love the Muppets!
I really enjoy making this style bracelet.
This One-Of-A-Kind bracelet is similar to my original OOAK Lilly Pads bracelet, with the color suggested by an online friend. I think the pink looks awsome!

This doll was done for Breast Cancer Awareness.
She was flocked, given a full face repaint using artistic acrylics and sealers.
Her outfit is a jean outfit with rhinestone accents.
She is wearing the pink ribbon of support.
Her jewelry is made of sterling silver.

I think this is the same boat as seen here and shows people returning to Badachro from church in Gairloch.
This is one of a small set of pictures found amongst photos belonging to a cousin of my late father. As far as I know he had no connection with Gairloch and it's a total coincidence that the photos were uncovered in Gairloch!
I finally made a dress i like! Collars are still tough but, I think Im starting to be a little better.
I still hope some day i can be as good as my dolly size sewing idols! ^u^

This shot was taken in the recent visit to Orissa, India. This is beautiful Khandagiri , Orissa.
The weather on day one was not good , we faced a small storm. This was taken after the storm.
This place is mingling with wild monkeys, but the good thing is they follow rules. Here I saw this she was on her own world of thinking .
Facts about Khandagiri caves
Khandagiri Caves are found in the hills, which are 6 km from Bhubaneshwar. The caves on the two low hills of Udayagiri and Khandagiri give ample proof of Jain and Buddhist occupation of the region at least by the 2nd century B.C. Khandagiri means "broken hill".
The Khandagiri Caves are reached via a steep path which divides halfway up the hill. To the right is Ananta Cave with its carved figures of elephants, and women which are worth a visit. It offers a fine bird eye view of Bhubaneshwar from its summit. The steep path up divides about third of the way up the hill. Further along there is a series of Jain Temples and, at the top, there is another Jain Temple dating from the 18th Century.
