My pose referenced Auguste Rodin's bronze sculpture named "The Thinker".

And, Kita thinks an excellent place for a nap.

Please see pix below for more....

I took this photo because of the 'Dutch Masters'' sort of light here in the late afternoon.

Kita had a different idea about what to do with it.

I know / think I have done "green" on a previous ODC but to keep my 100% (it must be!!) going Carole has allowed me to through up anything from a previous challenge. Well, as I've been pottering about in the garden today it had to be taken there!

This is forsythia growing on our back wall which "thinks" it can take a seat on one of our garden chairs - not for long, that's my chair!!

Strobist Info:

Self shot with one Dlite2 strobe on the top left of the model through honeycomb mesh & barn doors for non spilage of light.

Interesting thing is that I used a A5 sized fresnel lens for intensifying the light on the model's face.

Model: Kalyan D :)

As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.

-Henry David Thoreau-

This was taken in Sutera Harbour. I know, it's been awhile since I last updated :)

Camera still broken and unlikely to get fixed any time soon. Meanwhile I've been sorting through old photos on my computer, so I'll probably upload a few of these I previously overlooked.

We think Teek was in the basement when the CD case came crashing down. He's been sucky and sweet ALL day. He's still in the bedroom snoozing on my pillow. Come to think of it, I don't know that he's been back downstairs since the middle of the night. Poor lil' scaredy-pants.

I think I'd better get back to the rest of the group now, or they will leave without me! After checking out a desolate cave temple deep down in the bush, near the Saiyok Noi waterfall source near Kanchanaburi, Thailand, and a mild panic attack deep inside the cave (see previous pictures earlier in this album), it was high time I moved on On my way out, I did pause briefly to turn and look back into the cave temple to take this parting shot under the watchful eyes of the Buddha inside. I am in Kanchanaburi on a day trip to check out the bridge on the river Kwai and learn about the horrors related to the Death Railway, which I had spent the entire morning exploring. The after noon halt was at the Saiyok Noi waterfalls and while the rest of y group is splashing about in the waters of the pool, I opted for the long walk down a desolate rural Thai country road to check out the source of the Saiyok Noi falls. (detailed notes about all this appeared earlier in this album- see previous pictures). On my way back to join the rest of my group at the Saiyok Noi falls, I took a slight detour to explore this tiny cave temple set deep in the bush. (Kanchanaburi, Thailand, Oct. 2008)
