I was so excited to finally be able to construct a sleeve. They are incredibly hard (Amelia Thimble has really tiny arms and needs very tiny armholes) but so worth it!
they must be black and drop off the plant when you jiggle, tickle them and then you know that they are ripe and yummy.
Amelia was feeling a little neglected. New house no furniture! The bed was a find at £1.49 in local cheapie shop! We're going to paint it and stick some buttons on!

Tufts 3Ps does Peter Pan under the esteemed direction of Brendan Shea. We had epic swordfights, a world class ribbon dancer, pirates, crocodile, and a cast chock-full of Trunkers, including a mussy little group of Lost Boys with Ezra and myself. Boy, Neverland is quite a place to play.

In the late 1990’s, Christine Svenningsen, whose late husband, John, was the president of the party goods manufacturer Amscan, caused a stir by buying entire islands; she now owns five. In 2003, she bought four — including Phelps Island, which has no houses, for $1,000, and Rogers Island, which included four buildings, for $22.3 million.

I gave up the silly silver metal thimble pretty early on as I'm a 6 footer and NO thimble forged fits my looong finger; so, necessity being the mother, I found that cutting the finger off a Rubbermaid glove is a PERFECT gripper thimble --but the BIG root embrdy kicked my rubber grippers a**. I just bought 5 PAIRS in response. Bring it on. heh heh. And there's a thimble tutorial at freedomofstitch.com if ya wanna achieve better grip and control. (P.S. SCORE! the dollar store has rub'maid gloves for ONE dolla!! I got me 10 pairs to battle the Rooty bee-yotch! Stitchy smack down!)
