I bought this at one of the visits to see the Tibetan Tashi Lhunpo monks. It's only cheap but I like its colours and textures.

Each day this next week the members of 7 Days of Shooting will present a photograph representing a book title. Here in Northern California we are experiencing some historic storms. For “Texture Tuesday” I thought this favorite old children’s book by Judi Barrett was appropriate.

The goldfinches, purple finches, cardinals, robins, phoebes, and titmouse are in my yard! Yesterday we had rain & winds that had the surf up to 10 feet but these little birds were hanging on - so strong!

The day before yesterday for the first time Sue B. Lime (my new and marvelous power chair) and I took The Regency bus. I needed a small some-thing at Home Depot. Well, walking I never saw much of the store ~ it's so huge! Now that I can drive/ ride around, I had a ball exploring! In the coming days you'll see several pictures I took! What fun!

P.S. I'm old enough to remember living without computers, social media, etc. It was great! Film cameras, long hours being outdoors...so 'm going to spend a little less time on Flickr, I just can't keep up. Perhaps my age has something to do with it! This one was fishing way off into the distance while I was watching osprey. Zoom for feather pattern. I think the young eagles are prettier than the adults.

The texture is a cloud piece by Jai Johnson, I used it at 50%.
