This one was fishing way off into the distance while I was watching osprey. Zoom for feather pattern. I think the young eagles are prettier than the adults.
The texture is a cloud piece by Jai Johnson, I used it at 50%.

The day before yesterday for the first time Sue B. Lime (my new and marvelous power chair) and I took The Regency bus. I needed a small some-thing at Home Depot. Well, walking I never saw much of the store ~ it's so huge! Now that I can drive/ ride around, I had a ball exploring! In the coming days you'll see several pictures I took! What fun!

P.S. I'm old enough to remember living without computers, social media, etc. It was great! Film cameras, long hours being outdoors...so 'm going to spend a little less time on Flickr, I just can't keep up. Perhaps my age has something to do with it! I'll likely keep posting, and will comment on lovely images, but please if I don't make it to your beautiful photo you will know why:)
You know, when you're feeling a little prickly around the edges. Some times they come in threes... According to my interior designer friend, plants bring life to a room, clean the air and are especially good in the dreary winter months. I'm working on it - I've bought a few new house plants. This is my little prickly plant - a.k.a. Gasteria. They're quite prickly along the leaf edges and are native to South America according to wiki. Shot for 7DOS, On the Edge, Texture Tuesday, and ODC Imported, Foreign, Exotic. I hope my prickly friend brings some light and freshness to your week.
It's the beginning of a new week, one that will be different. Mom is going away this week (I can't believe she is going away without me). She doesn't want me to travel in a crate in the cargo section of an airplane, and nor do I, which I did once when I was a puppy. So, until Friday, me and dad will be without her, and it's gonna be different. But when she returns, I'll be back!!!

I think I should have had a bit more dof or a bit sharper in the middle, but I'm going with it . . . all day meetings at work for the next 4 days, uggh. I need to hit the gym before work to get up a little energy and attitude to make it through :)

While walking in town this lady let me take a picture of her dog. She gave me her contact information. I sent her the picture of the dog, which took forever to post process and she didn't even say thank you! Perhaps she didn't like his new look ;D

for 7DoS: When I went for a walk today, I left my camera at home because I have more than enough shots of bridges ... but I had my phone with me and now I have even more shots of bridges!
This weeks theme : Perfectly Imperfect.
So many possibilities !! I choose this very old sauceboat, it dates from the 1940th.
I think it is so perfect but it's missing a chip on the right in the red line.
The roses are getting brown ridges they too are not all perfect but still i love how they look.
I choose the texture kk_touchof-2 and used it twice on two different settings.
I took the photo in front of the window to get this beautiful soft light.

Hi!!! Happy Texture Tuesday!
For Kim Klassen's "Anything Goes" edition today, I added two layers of her "Sweet Tart" to a picture from yesterday morning in the garden.
I also want to thank everyone for your compliments on my book. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the movie preview yesterday. Some of you asked about getting pawdographed books. I think that will be pawsible, IF Very Vivi gets printed by a book publisher (someday, hopefully). Then copies will be reasonably affordable and I'd be delighted to personally pawdograph copies for all of you. While self-publishing is a fun and exciting project to do (and I recommend trying Blurb's SmartBook if you want to make a coffee table book), the only problem is it's expensive, especially once a book goes over 90-pages and top quality papers, linens, and the largest size book are ordered. I'll let you know if a publisher takes it.
