Blue Grape Hyacinths for Texture Tuesday

This week's challenge was to use at least one of Kim's textures on a floral image. I took this shot of a wild Sitka Rose a week ago and used Kim's "Sunday" and "Peony" textures in the processing, then added the image to a clipping mask, to create the frame.

this is just one of my many blessings, one of my many happiness(es). the textures i used were awaken and dreams. both seem very fitting for happiness to come in and stay awhile.

in my hurried state of doing this today...i see i've upped myself up a week. so...next week. i will be back with another something that makes me happy...sheesh!!!

Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday Pink eDition. I used Kim's Dusty Rose texture.

this photo is a project for Day 3 of the Texturize class. I used the kk_aurora texture from the 2012 collection.

For Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday!

I love the new Aurora texture Kim...thanks!

This was taken with the Lensbaby Soft Focus optic (a new toy). I added Kim's "Aurora" on Soft Light at 61%, and, "Cotton and Sherbert" from Distressed Jewell on Hard Light at 24%.

My contribution for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesdays...this week's theme was to pick a movie title. Mine is "Field of Dreams". I took this photo on a country road near Middleburg, VA with my new Lumix Panasonic camera. I used Kim's "Love" texture.

A field of dreams

Where clouds are bunnies

And time lulls lazily atop

The warm, green leaves

Of hazy summer trees.

a little heavenly hello to you ...

sorry to be so absent lately ...

wishing you sensational summery days!

Love the textures on this bridge. The stone vs, the rough logs...

Crisp lettuce, smooth tomatoes, creamy beans add up to yummy. And I forgot to take a picture of my lunch salad...

You need to be content with small steps; steps you take every day so when you look down the road it all adds up and you know you've covered some distance.

I cropped this from a larger image for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday. Check out this link if you want to see some really creative folks at work: www.kimklassencafe.com/thecafe/texturetuesday-the-cracker...

I used two layers of Crackerjack (Softlight at 76% and Saturation at 36%) and one layer of Serious Magic (Screen at 100%). I am having a blast playing with these textures!
