Texture Tuesday Theme 14.5.13:
Black & White or Black & White with Just a Touch of Color.
Original colour image from 2B challenge utilized two layers of Kim's kk_cherishscripted texture.
This one has been edited for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday, the theme this week is Light and we had to add one texture.

for 7DoS: another fisheye lens shot : I hope the crop doesn't distract from the distortion but the bottom of the original shot is mostly dirt and I don't feel to adds anything to the image. A problem with a fisheye lens is quite how much it captures ... I sometimes feel like it can see behind me ;)
Texture Tuesday Time!
I desaturated this a bit and then applied two of Kim Klassen's textures:
- Lovely Lavender on Hard Light @ 38%
- Retreat on Multiply @ 84%
Just had to play today. kk_heartbeat softlight 100% kk_heartbeat multiply 48% font Times and Times Again.

My submission for this week's Texture Tuesday. Caught me by surprise this week because of yesterday's holiday. Shot this sweet flower several months ago at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens while photowalking with some friends during the Cocktails in the Gardens event. This week's challenge was to use the Cracker Jack texture. I used 2 layers of it.
Texture by Kim Klassen. Thank you Kim for all your wonderful freebies.
For Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday...in Black and White!
I converted this image to black and white first; then added two of Kim's textures -
- Storm on Soft Light @ 89%
- Shades of November on Mulitiply@ 28%
I then desaturated to -75 and added the text (Chalkduster font)... Happy Tuesday!

Used two layer of Kim's texture 'Poetic' and practiced lots of challenges from her Beyond Layers workshop: adjustment hue/saturation layer (to desaturate colors), high pass filter (for punching up the details) and a b/w gradient mask (reversed, so the foregd. was lightened and the sky area was darker).
It's Texture Tuesday time! It's a day I look forward to each week. This image is from Colorado a few weeks ago. There were so many flowers in bloom I didn't know where to point my lens.

This is a Texture Tuesday submission that I had wanted to submit last week in honor of 9/11 and our soldiers. This is one of the flags that was displayed at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield in honor of the families who lost someone on 9/11. It is a moving exhibit every year they do it. I don't personally know anyone who lost their life on 9/11, but I do know several men who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan (some for several tours). I appreciate and am very thankful for their service to our country.
Texture used is Kim Klassen's Beauty.
