For Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday...used two of her textures, 'grunged up 2' and 'yesteryear.' Plus lots of selective erasing....

I used two layers of Crackerjack (Softlight at 76% and Saturation at 36%) and one layer of Serious Magic (Screen at 100%). I am having a blast playing with these textures!

September 2015 "7 Days of Shooting" "Week #11" "Energy" "Texture Tuesday"
7 Days of Shooting –
Week #15 (w/b 18 October) Vegetables - Vegetables are perfect subjects for photography. Fresh tomatoes, carrots, cauliflower, jalapeño and on and on! So, we should have a gallery of healthy photos so get down to your local Farmers’ Market and show us your best!!
Texture Tuesday - Texture in photography emphasizes features and details, so the detail in the surface of the object(s) you are photographing should be the most important feature of the image.
Week #12 (w/b 27 September) Three - Whatever, But Three - Not one, not two but three … you can take photographs of anything you wish this week but there has to be three of them! However, for those that like that little number 3, the numeric number 3 will be allowed but BIG extra points (!!) as we want to see three little pigs, or the three musketeers ~ you’ve got it 3 of anything or that single numeric 3 will work this week!

three lines painted on the path to let walkers know that the surface is slightly broken
I used 1 layer of Kim Klassen's "Sybil" from the Downtown Collection with a layer mask and with setting the texture to 95% opacity...simple!
The font is "Milk and Cereal" - one of my favorites...
I've been wanting a chance to use Kim's kk-chalk magic. This photo had a black background to begin with, so I added the chalk magic, then an adjustment layer to remove the texture from the mug and doily.
